  • Patent number: 8812306
Abstract: An audio decoding device capable of suppressing an information amount for a lost flame compensation process and encoding efficiency is provided. A decoded sound source generator generates a lost frame's CELP decoded sound source signal. A pitch pulse information decoder CELP decodes a pitch pulse position information and a pitch pulse amplitude information. A pitch pulse waveform learner learns a pitch pulse learning waveform in a past frame in advance from the lost frame. A convolution adjuster amplitude-adjusts the pitch pulse learning waveform according to the pitch pulse amplitude information by considering a predetermined number of waveforms peripheral to a peak position of the lost frame's CELP decoded excitation signal, and convolutes a pitch pulse waveform into a time axis which has been amplitude-adjusted according to the pitch pulse position information.

  • Patent number: 8789512
Abstract: A fluid pressure regulating device is i) provided with a pressure regulating member that forms a pressure regulating chamber inside a housing having introduction side and discharge side fuel passages, and communicates these passages according to introduced fuel pressure, and ii) is able to regulate the fuel pressure introduced into a fuel passage to a set pressure. The housing is provided with outer and inner annular valve seat portions that separate the fuel passages inside the pressure regulating chamber, and form another fuel passage inside the pressure regulating chamber. Different clearances are set between the pressure regulating member, and the outer annular valve seat portion and the inner annular valve seat portion, such that when the pressure regulating member abuts against one of the valve seat portions, a small gap is formed between the other valve seat portion and the pressure regulating member.

  • Patent number: 8768691
Abstract: A sound encoder for efficiently encoding stereophonic sound. A prediction parameter analyzer determines a delay difference D and an amplitude ratio g of a first-channel sound signal with respect to a second-channel sound signal as channel-to-channel prediction parameters from a first-channel decoded signal and a second-channel sound signal. A prediction parameter quantizer quantizes the prediction parameters, and a signal predictor predicts a second-channel signal using the first decoded signal and the quantization prediction parameters. The prediction parameter quantizer encodes and quantizes the prediction parameters (the delay difference D and the amplitude ratio g) using a relationship (correlation) between the delay difference D and the amplitude ratio g attributed to a spatial characteristic (e.g., distance) from a sound source of the signal to a receiving point.

  • Patent number: 8757876
Abstract: An X-ray apparatus in this example of the invention includes a compression unit that enables to move independently of an X-ray tube supporting device and an X-ray detector for compressing a region of interest of a subject; and a connecting part for connecting the X-ray detector to the compression unit and disconnecting the X-ray detector from the compression unit. Consequently, when the compression unit is not used, the compression unit is located in a retracted position. Thus a space can be secured around the subject placed on a top board. On the other hand, when the compression unit is used, the connecting part connects the X-ray detector to the compression unit. Thereby a compression member of the compression unit can always press a site of interest of the subject at the center of a detecting surface of the X-ray detector.

  • Patent number: 8749689
Abstract: An image capturing apparatus has a plurality of predetermined temperatures to be compared with the temperature of an image sensor. Every time a detected temperature of the image sensor exceeds one of the plurality of temperatures, a different predetermined indication corresponding to the predetermined temperature is displayed on a display device together with an image signal output from the image sensor, thereby giving a warning to the user.

  • Patent number: 8733822
Abstract: A vehicle front structure includes a dash panel that is located at a front portion of a vehicle and a floor panel that extends in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. The dash panel includes a contact portion which extends in the vehicle width direction and with which a front end portion of the floor panel comes into contact, and concave portions that are located below the floor panel and opened upward in a side view of the vehicle body. The contact portion is formed integrally with the concave portions. Accordingly, the vehicle front structure may be easily worked and joining among a dash panel, a floor panel, and an inner panel in the related art may be changed to joining between two parts, that is, the dash panel and the floor panel, so that it may be possible to strengthen the joints between the dash panel and the floor panel.

  • Patent number: 8670988
Abstract: There is provided an audio encoding device capable of causing a decoding side to freely select an audio decoding mode corresponding to a control method used for audio encoding and capable of generating data which can be decoded even when the decoding side does not correspond to the control method. The audio encoding device (100) outputs encoded data corresponding to an audio signal containing an audio component and encoded data corresponding to an audio signal containing no audio component. An audio encoding unit (102) encodes the input audio signal in a predetermined section unit and generates encoded data. An audio present/absent judgment unit (106) decides whether the input audio signal contains an audio component for each predetermined section.

  • Patent number: 8644526
Abstract: Fluctuation in decoded signal localization is suppressed to maintain the feel of stereo. A selection unit selects balance parameters when the balance parameters are input from a gain coefficient decoding unit, or selects balance parameters input from a gain coefficient calculation unit when there is no balance parameter input from the gain coefficient decoding unit, and outputs the selected balance parameters to a multiplication unit. The multiplication unit multiplies a gain coefficient input from the selection unit with a decoded monaural signal input from a monaural decoding unit to perform balance adjustment processing.
