  • Publication number: 20220391111
Abstract: Memory usage can be optimized during an imaging process to enable larger-sized deployments and client servicing. A variety of components can be employed on a computing device to present a hybrid virtual volume to the operating system during an imaging process. The hybrid virtual volume will appear to the operating system as having a large size while consuming minimal amounts of memory and disk. As a result, the risk of the imaging process failing for lack of resources will be minimized even when the image is large.

  • Publication number: 20220365963
Abstract: Image Retrieval is an application of computer vision that deals with searching images in large databases. Conventional methods utilize the entire image to perform the image retrieval task rather than considering specific features. The embodiments herein provide a method and system for feature based image retrieval. Initially, the system receives an input image and a query label. Further, a feature specific encoder is selected from a plurality of feature specific encoders based on the query label. A first set of feature vectors are computed from the input image using the selected feature specific encoder. Further, a Locality Sensitive Hashing (LSH) value is computed from the first set of feature vectors. Finally, a plurality of matching images is obtained from a plurality database images based on a comparison between the computed feature specific LSH value and a plurality of feature specific LSH values stored in a feature specific LSH database.

  • Patent number: 11496444
Abstract: Technologies are disclosed for enforcing access control to resources of an indexing system using resource paths. Before performing a search for resources, access control is performed. By determining the resource paths that the user is authorized and/or unauthorized to access before performing the search, the search engine returns resources that the user is authorized to access instead of returning resources that the user may not be authorized to access. Before submitting a search query to a search engine an augmented search query is generated. The augmented search query includes one or more filter rules (which may be referred to herein as “filters”) that specify the resource paths to include or exclude from the search. The augmented search query limits the search to resources that the user is authorized to access.
