  • Publication number: 20220311738
Abstract: Techniques are presented herein for providing a persistent external Internet Protocol (IP) address for extra-cluster services. One example involves initiating, in a cluster, a first pod with a label that identifies a service. The first pod is configured to provide the service to one or more network entities outside the cluster. The first pod is assigned an IP address configured for communicating outside the cluster. A mapping of the service to the IP address is stored. In response to a determination that the service has been disrupted, a second pod is initiated in the cluster with the label that identifies the service. The second pod is configured to provide the service to the one or more network entities outside the cluster. Based on the mapping and the label that identifies the service, the IP address is assigned to the second pod.

  • Publication number: 20220303591
Abstract: Live video streams are produced using a network server system. The network server system initially receives, via a network, one or more captured video streams that are live streams captured from a remotely-located camera, phone or the like. The captured streams are forwarded to a control device via the network to thereby permit a user of the control device to select one of the captured video streams for output to the video production stream. In response to a command received from the control device that indicates the selected capture stream, the selected capture video stream is encoded for output as the video production stream.

  • Publication number: 20220283929
Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically generating tests in Gherkin format are disclosed. A repository stores open application programming interface (API) specification definition file corresponding to an application. A processor accesses the repository to obtain the open API specification definition file as input data. A receiver receives the input data. The processor parses, in response to received input data, the specification to collect data from the open API specification definition file; structures the collected data into a data frame object; implements a processing logic to derive applicable tests using a predefined template; implements the tests by utilizing the predefined template; and automatically generates, based on the implemented tests, corresponding test cases in an executable Gherkin syntax. This process of automatically executing testing of the application based on the functional tests is performed, for example, on a Kubernetes platform.

  • Publication number: 20220282284
Abstract: Provided are compositions and methods for producing eukaryotic cells that comprise homozygous modifications. The modifications include homozygous insertions of a modified open reading frame (a “mORF”), and removable surface displayed epitopes that can be used for separating cells that contain the homozygous modifications by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS). The inserted mORFs are configured so that they are in frame with an endogenous open reading frame and their expression can be controlled by an endogenous promoter. The homozygous insertions are produced using specialized double stranded DNA repair templates and CRISPR-based approaches, which provide for insertion of the homozygous modified ORFs, surface expression of two different epitopes that are separated from the modified ORFs by ribosomal peptide skipping domains, and separation and isolation of cells that contain the homozygous insertions, with concurrent or sequential removal of the epitopes using recombinase-mediated approaches.

The computer identifies, for each news article, at least one activity phase candidate selected from a list of activity phases associated with the activity of focus, using a second machine learning model. The computer determines, for each of new article, an activity phase of focus from among the activity phase candidates. The determination is based, at least in part on a confirmation attribute associated with the article. The computer categorizes each of the articles by said activity of focus and said activity phase of focus.

  • Publication number: 20220277287
Abstract: Method and System for Facilitating Secure Payment Transactions A method for facilitating payment transactions includes receiving, by a server, a flash code request indicative of a transaction amount. A flash code associated with the transaction amount is communicated by the server to the payer device. The flash code is encoded into a flash pattern at the payer device and communicated to a payee device of a payee for executing a payment transaction between the payer and the payee. A first request for the payment transaction is received by the server from the payee device. The first request includes the flash code obtained by decoding the flash pattern at the payee device. The flash code included in the first request is validated by the server. Based on successful validation of the flash code, the transaction amount is deducted from a payer account of the payer and credited to a payee account of the payee.

  • Publication number: 20220269733
Abstract: Techniques for suggesting filters for query terms based on previously selected query results are disclosed. Common characteristics of previously selected query results are presented as a filter. A system trains a machine learning model by obtaining historical data including query characteristics and selected query results. Based on the historical data, the system trains the machine learning model to associate the first filter field with the first search term. The system receives a first query for execution. The system applies the machine learning model to the first query to identify the first filter field as a suggestion. The system: recommends the first field for filtering a first set of search results corresponding to the first query. Responsive to receiving user input selecting a first value for the first filter field, the system filters using the first value to generate a set of filtered search results, and presents the filtered search results.

  • Publication number: 20220269893
Abstract: Performance enhancement of face verification systems is credited due to advancement in deep learning methods. However, these systems fail to provide interpretations for decision makings despite their ability to attain high accuracy. Various post-hoc methods have been proposed due to increased demand of deep learning models for better interpretations. However, face verification systems are still prone to adversarial attacks. Present disclosure provides a face verification system and method which addresses the issue of interpretability by employing modular neural network(s), wherein representations for each individual facial feature such as nose, mouth, eyes, etc., are learned separately and verification of input face images is performed. Through experiments, present disclosure demonstrates that the method described herein is resistant to adversarial attacks, thereby addressing another crucial weakness concerning deep learning models.
