  • Publication number: 20200056876
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to identifying azimuth error and determining an azimuth of an antenna installed in a cell of a cellular network. In a preferred embodiment, the network entity receives a plurality of transmission parameters basis to which the network entity identifies a target cell. The network entity further divides angular region of the cell serving the target cell into a plurality of cones out of which a target cone is identified by the network entity. The network entity then performs first iteration yielding a first azimuth, and in an event of an azimuth error in the first azimuth, the network entity performs second iteration yielding a second azimuth. The present disclosure also encompasses predicting an optimum azimuth of said antenna in an event of azimuth error/s in the first azimuth and the second azimuth.

  • Publication number: 20200051257
Abstract: Imaging from sequential scans is aligned based on patient information. A three-dimensional distribution of a patient-related object or objects, such as an outer surface of the patient or an organ in the patient, is stored with any results (e.g., images and/or measurements). Rather than the entire scan volume, the three-dimensional distributions from the different scans are used to align between the scans. The alignment allows diagnostically useful comparison between the scans, such as guiding an imaging technician to more rapidly determine the location of a same lesion for size comparison.

  • Publication number: 20200042339
Abstract: Systems and methods for batching operations in a virtualization environment. A method embodiment operates over a plurality of virtual machines in the virtualization environment. A user interface is used to select two or more virtual machines that are to be subjected to the same batch actions. A method step then generates at least one batch request to be performed over the two or more selected virtual machines. In forming the batch request, the states of the individual virtual machines are analyzed to determine one or more entity-specific operations that apply to the virtual machines and/or to constituent entities of the virtual machines. Once the state-specific and entity-specific operations have been determined, an entity management protocol initiates execution of the one or more entity-specific operations over the individual ones of the two or more selected virtual machines.

  • Publication number: 20200044848
Abstract: A processor-implemented method facilitates identity exchange in a decentralized setting. A first system performs a pseudonymous handshake with a second system that has created an identity asset that identifies an entity. The second system has transmitted the identity asset to a third system, which is a set of peer computers that support a blockchain that securely maintains a ledger of the identity asset. The first system transmits a set of pseudonyms to the third system, where the set of pseudonyms comprises a first pseudonym that identifies the first system, a second pseudonym that identifies a user of the second system, and a third pseudonym that identifies the third system. The first system receives the identity asset from the third system, which securely ensures a validity of the identity asset as identified by the first pseudonym, the second pseudonym, and the third pseudonym.

  • Publication number: 20200034873
Abstract: A device obtains data, for a current media plan, that includes a cost adjustment factor, a duration of an unexecuted portion of the current media plan that is divisible into periods of time, and an unutilized budget, for the duration, that is divisible into budget portions based on the periods of time. The device generates a predictive baseline cost parameter by adjusting, by the cost adjustment factor, a baseline cost parameter of a previously implemented baseline media plan. The device predicts cost metrics for the current media plan using the predictive baseline cost parameter, and predicts performance metrics for the current media plan based on the cost metrics and predictive baseline cost parameter. The device determines target cost per point (CPP) values for the current media plan based on the cost metrics and performance metrics, and causes an action to be performed based on the target CPP values.

  • Publication number: 20200028774
Abstract: In one illustrative example, an IP network media data router includes a spine and leaf switch architecture operative to provide IP multicast delivery of media data from source devices to receiver devices without the overhead communication with a controller. The architecture can include K spine switches, K sets of L leaf switches, M data links between each leaf switch, and a plurality of bidirectional data ports connected to each leaf switch for a guaranteed non-blocking IP multicast delivery of data. A deterministic hash function a used on both the first hop router and the last hop router to ensure the same spine node is selected for flow stitching. Accordingly, without the extra communication with a centralized controller, the right spine for establishing a multicast flow can be chosen using the deterministic hash function and the distributed resource information stored on each node.

In some embodiments, a mobile device receives configuration information for user input of a passcode to another device. In some embodiments, the configuration information specifies a pseudo-random relationship of input values to input actions recognized by the other device. In some embodiments, a private interface is displayed based on the configuration information, where the private interface is visible to a user of the mobile device and not to others. In various embodiments, the disclosed techniques may reduce the ability of other nearby individuals to determine information entered by the user.

  • Patent number: 10540457
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for real-time prediction of thermal-insights for a heat dissipating device in a data center cooled by one or more cooling units. The method uses a concept of influence mass fractions in conjunction with proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) based reduced order model. It may be understood that, the influence mass fractions may be computed by performing a fixed number of CFD simulations based on mass flow rates of the one or more cooling units. The method further facilitates to identify a set of reference scenarios for a given range of operational parameters of the one or more cooling units impacting the heat dissipating device. The set of reference scenarios may then be provided to the POD in order to predict the thermal-insights of the data center such as a temperature, mass flow rate, and insights into thermal influence of air sources on the heat dissipating device.
