  • Publication number: 20190339727
Abstract: Methods, systems and circuits for controlling the power available to the load, by reducing the power available to the load, and additionally or alternatively, limiting the current available by pre-establishing a maximum reference current. The reference current is compared to the actual or estimated current drawn by the load or part of the load. The comparison result is used to control a device or switch which disconnects the power supply or power supply regulator, whether connected directly to the load or connected via voltage dropping device, to one or more or a plurality of the load blocks when the maximum current is exceeded.

  • Patent number: 10469461
Abstract: A device may receive a packet from a first endpoint that is destined for a second endpoint. The first endpoint may be hosted on the device. The device may determine whether a secure session exists between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The secure session may permit encrypted traffic to be exchanged between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The device may process the packet using a set of rules after determining whether the secure session exists between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The device may encrypt the packet using security information associated with the secure session after determining that the secure session exists, or establishing the secure session when the secure session does not exist. The device may provide the packet toward the second endpoint after encrypting the packet.

Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic speech recognition by training a neural network to learn features from raw speech. The system comprises a neural network executing on a computer system and comprising a feature extractor, a label classifier, and a domain classifier. The feature extractor processes raw speech data and generates a first output data. The label classifier processes the first output data and generates a second output data. The domain classifier processes the first output data and generating a third output data. The neural network calculates first loss data based on the second output, and second loss data based on the third output. Further, the neural network is trained to minimize a cross-entropy cost of the label classifier and to maximize a cross-entropy cost of the domain classifier using the first loss data and the second loss data.

  • Publication number: 20190318638
Abstract: A system for providing obstacle alerts to an in-flight aircraft has been developed. The system includes a transceiver on board the vehicle that transmits performance parameters of the vehicle and a remotely located antenna that receives the performance parameters from the transceiver. Also included is a remotely located terrain database stores obstacle characteristics of terrestrial obstacles located in proximity to the vehicle. A remotely located computer system receives the performance parameters from the antenna and the obstacle characteristics in proximity to the vehicle from the terrain database. The computer system calculates a vehicle safety envelope based on the performance parameters and an obstacle safety envelope based on the obstacle characteristics. • Publication number: 20190317696
Abstract: A method for handling a command ID conflict in an NVMe-based solid-state drive (SSD) device includes fetching, from a host submission queue (HSQ), one or more commands submitted by a host device. The fetched commands are checked to determine if there is a command ID conflict. A command ID (CID) error interrupt is communicated to firmware of the SSD device if the command ID conflict is detected. A command validation is performed for the one or more commands on receiving the CID error interrupts. A command response is communicated with additional special information from the device FW to the host device for a command having a command ID conflict. • Patent number: 10448335
Abstract: A network using a routing protocol for low-power and lossy networks (“RPL”) can provide timing information for a next destination oriented directed acyclic graph (“DODAG”) information object (“DIO”) packet by including DIO timing information in an RPL packet or a beacon. When a low energy node receives the RPL packet, it may use the DIO timing information to determine a wake time which corresponds to the timing of the next DIO packet. The low energy node may enter a sleep state after determining the wake time and remain in the sleep state until the wake time when it enters an active state and listens for the next DIO packet. Alternatively, DIO slots in a DIO slot frame may be allocated for communicating DIO packets.
