  • Patent number: 11570042
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product for open flow connection between differing software-defined network controllers are provided. The method generates a networking interface between a first networking controller and a second networking controller. Networking information is exchanged between the first networking controller and the second networking controller using the networking interface. A logical switch is generated between the first networking controller and the second networking controller by matching at least a portion of the networking information of the second networking controller at the first networking controller. The method exchanges the matched portion of the networking information from the first networking controller with the second networking controller to create layer two open flow connection between the first networking controller and the second networking controller.

  • Patent number: 11567642
Abstract: Contextual paste target prediction is used to predict one or more target applications for a paste action, and do so based upon a context associated with the content that has previously been selected and copied. The results of the prediction may be used to present to a user one or more user controls to enable the user to activate one or more predicted application, and in some instances, additionally configure a state of a predicted application to use the selected and copied content once activated. As such, upon completing a copy action, a user may, in some instances, be provided with an ability to quickly switch to an application into which the user was intending to paste the content. This can provide a simpler user interface in a device such as phones and tablet computers with limited display size and limited input device facilities. It can result in a paste operation into a different application with fewer steps than is possible conventionally.

  • Patent number: 11565699
Abstract: A method includes detecting, via a processor of an autonomous vehicle, an upcoming downhill road segment of a route on which the autonomous vehicle is currently travelling. The detection is based on map data, camera data, and/or inertial measurement unit (IMU) data. In response to detecting the upcoming downhill road segment, a descent plan is generated for the autonomous vehicle. The descent plan includes a speed profile and a brake usage plan. The brake usage plan specifies a non-zero amount of retarder usage and an amount of foundation brake usage for a predefined time period. The method also includes autonomously controlling the autonomous vehicle, based on the descent plan, while the autonomous vehicle descends the downhill road segment.

  • Patent number: 11568179
Abstract: A model analyzer may receive a representative data set as input and select one of a plurality of analytic models to perform the analysis. Before deciding which model to use the model may be trained, and the trained model evaluated for accuracy. However, some models are known to behave poorly when the training data is distributed in a particular way. Thus, the cost of training a model and evaluating the trained model can be avoided by first analyzing the distribution of the representative data. Identifying the representative data distribution allows ruling out use of models for which the distribution of the representative data is unsuitable. Only models that may be compatible with the distribution of the representative data may be trained and evaluated for accuracy. The most accurate trained model whose accuracy meets an accuracy threshold may be selected to analyze subsequently received data related to the representative data.

  • Patent number: 11570272
Abstract: A method for data provisioning a serverless computing cluster. A plurality of user defined functions (UDFs) are received for execution on worker nodes of the serverless computing cluster. For a first UDF, one or more data locations of UDF data needed to execute the first UDF are determined. At a master node of the serverless computing cluster, a plurality of worker node tickets are received, each ticket indicating a resource availability of a corresponding worker node. The one or more data locations and the plurality of worker node tickets are analyzed to determine eligible worker nodes capable of executing the first UDF. The master node transmits a pre-fetch command to one or more of the eligible worker nodes, causing the eligible worker nodes to become a provisioned worker node for the first UDF by storing a pre-fetched first UDF data before the first UDF is assigned for execution.

  • Patent number: 11568362
Abstract: A system and associated method provides a visualization of a life cycle of a trade order. The visualization may be in the form of a tree structure with a plurality of linked nodes. Each node may be associated with an event that occurs during the life cycle of the trade. A monitoring system receives information associated with a plurality of events associated with the trade order, generates a plurality of nodes based on the received information, stores identifiers associated with each of the plurality of nodes, and links the plurality of nodes based on the identifiers to create the tree structure. The monitoring system also performs a verification process to determine whether the visualization is missing information or includes incorrect information and alerts to a discrepancy identified during the verification process.

  • Patent number: 11570588
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) indicates to a network the types of SMS messages that the UE does not support. The network receives an indication from the UE corresponding to one or more types of short message service (SMS) messages that are supported by the UE, receives a SMS that is intended to be delivered to the UE, determines whether to forward the SMS message to the UE based on the indication received from the UE, when the SMS message is a type of SMS message supported by the UE, forwards the SMS message to the UE and, when the SMS message is not a type of SMS message supported by the UE, discards the SMS message.

  • Patent number: 11567872
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for prefetching data. First data is loaded from a first memory location. The first data in cached in a cache memory. Other data is prefetched to the cache memory based on a compression of the first data and a compression of the other data. In some implementations, the compression of the first data and the compression of the other data are determined based on metadata associated with the first data and metadata associated with the other data. In some implementations, the other data is prefetched to the cache memory based on a total of a compressed size of the first data and a compressed size of the other data being less than a threshold size. In some implementations, the other data is not prefetched to the cache memory based on the other data being uncompressed.
