  • Publication number: 20240420018
Abstract: In some embodiments, a computing system may generate a prediction related to a new category (not included in a set of categories) using a machine learning model trained on a set of embeddings corresponding to the category set. As an example, the computing system may generate a set of hashes such that each hash of the hash set is mapped to an embedding of the embedding set. When a new category added to the category set, the computing system may generate a given hash for the new category and identify a first hash of the hash set that matches the given hash. Based on identifying the first hash as a matching hash, the computing system may use an existing embedding (e.g., mapped to the first hash) with the machine learning model in connection with the new category, thereby avoiding a need to add a new embedding to the embedding set.

  • Publication number: 20240419556
Abstract: A system can maintain a backup of data stored on a source computer, wherein the backup is stored on a remote computer. The system can maintain, on the source computer, a file catalog, wherein the file catalog comprises a local path for a first file on the source computer, a remote backup location for the first file on the remote computer, and a first hash of the first file. The system can determine that a copy of the first file at the local path on the source computer is corrupted. The system can identify whether a second hash of a second file on the source computer matches the first hash of the first file. The system can, in response to determining that the second hash matches the first hash, repair first data of the first file with second data of the second file, and repair first metadata of the first file with second metadata from the remote backup location for the first file on the remote computer.

  • Publication number: 20240419678
Abstract: A data processing and analysis system that optimizes the resources to be used for data storage and refresh events. A partitioner module for a data analysis system can receive a first client criteria and a first client dataset that includes tabular data and calculate scores that are used to generate partitioning strategies. The selected partitioning strategy can be implemented to produce aggregated data that can be stored in an intelligent data mart. The partitions can then be accessed by a data visualization platform for intelligent, dynamic responses to user requests for data analyses and generation of visualizations. By providing synchronous partitioning of data (especially big data) and intelligent refresh, the data can move from the back-end to the front-end with minimal user clicks and minimal latency in performance.

Abstract: A device includes a cap, a patch deployment mechanism, and a therapeutic patch. The cap includes a wall defining a chamber with an open distal end. The mechanism is slidably received within the chamber in an insertion configuration and includes proximal and distal members coupled by bowing members. The bowing members expand radially outward relative to the insertion configuration when longitudinally compressed via movement of the distal member toward the proximal member. The patch is wrapped around the mechanism and is forced radially outward into contact with and adhere to a target portion of tissue when the mechanism is longitudinally compressed and the bowing members are radially expanded. The mechanism is to radially retracted after the patch has been adhered to the portion, from a deployed configuration to the insertion configuration to separate the patch from the mechanism leaving the patch in a desired position adhered to the portion.

  • Publication number: 20240420387
Abstract: Detecting cancer early can significantly reduce mortality rate, but this still remains a challenge owing to shortcomings in early screening and detection with existing modalities. Cancer detection is done using known screening methods such as X-ray mammography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Ultrasound imaging (US). But these conventional methods have their own limitations such as compression discomfort, inherent health risks, expensive, and consume more time and effort. Present disclosure provides system and method for enhanced microwave imaging (MWI) for efficient breast tumor detection by scanning subject's specific body portion to optimize the scan duration. The MWI is framed as an inverse problem by building forward model using a Point Spread Function (PSF) and is solved by imposing sparsity prior since tumor is concentrated to limited regions. The entire scanning duration is optimized by viewing the problem as a sequential decision making process for a Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) agent.
