  • Publication number: 20250047803
Abstract: A method in a conferencing system terminal device includes detecting, with one or more processors during a videoconference, a communication device electronically in communication with a plurality of remote electronic devices engaged in the videoconference. The method includes also detecting, with one or more sensors during the videoconference, an authorized user of the conferencing system terminal device engaging in a side conversation. One or more processors cause the communication device to transmit a video overlay for the authorized user of the conferencing system terminal device to the plurality of remote electronic devices while the side conversation occurs. This conceals the authorized user's participation in the side conversation.

  • Publication number: 20250047811
Abstract: Techniques for gaze-based video conference prompts are described that leverage eye-tracking algorithms within a video conference setting to perform a variety of functionality. For instance, a computing device displays a user interface of a video conference session that includes representations of video conference attendees. The computing device receives video content that depicts a user of the computing device and uses eye tracking techniques to determine a gaze location of the user based on the video content. The gaze location corresponds to one of the representations of an attendee. The computing device then communicates a prompt to one or more of the attendees that indicates the gaze location. In another example, the computing device detects a behavior of the user, e.g., a scanning behavior. Responsive to detection of the behavior, the computing device performs an action within the user interface, such as to display a roster view of the attendees.

  • Publication number: 20250045057
Abstract: An integrated circuit device includes a plurality of chiplets. A first chiplet is configured to execute a first boot-up sequence to prepare the first chiplet for operation, and output a trigger signal. A second chiplet is configured to execute a second boot-up sequence to prepare the second chiplet for operation, in response to the trigger signal. The first boot-up sequence at least partially overlaps the second boot-up sequence in time. An example of the integrated circuit device is a System-on-Chip (SoC) that can include various subsystems distributed among multiple chiplets or dies. The boot-up sequences of the subsystems are ordered to increase concurrency between the boot-up sequences. Increasing concurrency of the boot-up sequences between chiplets reduce the overall boot-up time of the SoC.

  • Publication number: 20250045862
Abstract: A processor receives a command to process a job, generates a plurality of process images, and deploys the process images on a plurality of optical computing nodes. The processor detects that a first process image has failed at a first optical computing node, and in response, identifies a first reference process image corresponding to the first process image. The processor determines a root cause associated with the failed first process image based on comparing the first process image to the first reference process image. The processor resolves the root cause and re-deploys the first process image at the first computing node or a second computing node.

  • Publication number: 20250048468
Abstract: The technology described herein is directed towards near-instantaneous optimization of radio resource control (RRC) rejection wait times per user equipment, which can be per user equipment of a group of multiple user equipment. In inference mode, a trained wait time prediction model (e.g., an artificial intelligence/deep reinforcement learning (AI/DRL) model in a base station) adaptively determines the per-UE rejection wait times based on current (measured) network state data, including current centralized unit and distributed unit utilization levels. The technology described herein operates to decreases the overall RRC request rate, while maintaining very high utilization of gNodeB resources, which results in increased per-UE energy efficiency and decreased signaling traffic loads.
