Abstract: A multi-source ground-to-air heat transfer system is configured to store thermal energy during a cooling/dehumidification mode of operation for future use during a heating mode of operation. The multi-source ground-to-air heat transfer system utilizes a ground loop that is configured under an enclosure, such as a greenhouse, and is in thermal communication with a thermal reservoir medium to conduct and store heat. A thermal exchange fluid is pumped through the ground loop and ground heat exchanger and may receive heat from a condenser during a cooling/dehumidification mode of operation and may liberate heat to the evaporator during a heating mode. The enclosure air may receive heat from the heat pump during a heating mode and may liberate heat to the evaporator during a cooling/dehumidification mode. The heat exchange system may employ a heat pump having a reversing valve to change the mode of operation.

  • Publication number: 20250147925
Abstract: A secure data storage management “recovery system” operates in a cloud computing environment that is apart from a source system and source data being protected. A “recovery manager” in the cloud computing environment is responsible for restoring secondary copies that were generated by the source system. The recovery manager gains knowledge (metadata) about the secondary copies by restoring, for its own use, a management database of, and backed up by, the source system. The recovery manager initiates out-of-place restores of the secondary copies to “recovery clients” in the recovery cloud. The recovery system restores, to the recovery cloud, secondary copies from any cloud platform and/or from non-cloud data centers, including secondary copies stored locally, off-cloud by the source system. The recovery manager comprises new features that enforce its isolation from the source system and they act to protect the integrity of the secondary copies generated by the source system.

  • Publication number: 20250147913
Abstract: A transmission driver for serial communication includes first multiplexing circuitry configured to partially serialize a data group into data subgroups based on an in-phase clock, and to delay a quadrature clock corresponding to the in-phase clock. The delay is based on latency of the partial serialization. The transmission driver also includes second multiplexing circuitry having a source-series terminated (SST) driver configured to serialize the data subgroups into a serial data stream based on the delayed quadrature clock. The first multiplexing circuitry may be configured to partially serialize the data group into the data subgroups by arranging a four-bit data group into a pair of two-bit data groups, and the second multiplexing circuitry may be configured to serialize the data subgroups into the serial data stream by arranging the pair of two-bit data groups into the serial data stream.

  • Publication number: 20250150896
Abstract: Some examples of the techniques described herein may provide encoding or decoding approaches to generate vectors that meet an orthogonality condition in vector compression procedures (e.g., vector compression or decompression). Encoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the encode side may generate orthogonal compressed vectors or decoder layers (e.g., neural network layers) on the decode side may generate orthogonal decompressed vectors. For instance, a neural network layer may be trained to generate a compressed or decompressed vector that satisfies an orthogonality condition relative to one or more previously compressed or decompressed vectors in accordance with a dependency order or a compression sequence. An indication of the dependency order may be communicated between the encode side and the decode side to order encoder or decoder layers (e.g., to execute encoder or decoder layers in the compression sequence) to produce compressed or decompressed vectors that satisfy an orthogonality condition.

  • Publication number: 20250148607
Abstract: In the Iris based biometric recognition systems, iris needs to be segmented before comparison and hence iris segmentation is a crucial process in iris based biometric recognition systems. Existing techniques are unable to segment iris due to occlusions and require complex and time consuming algorithms to remove these occlusions. Other deep learning based solutions require precise annotations of the iris regions along with eyelids and eyelashes. The present disclosure initially generates polygons on the iris and pupil area using a pre-trained detection model. Internally covered vertices and externally exposed vertices of the generated polygons are computed to construct curvature of the iris region. A pupil region is generated by filtering the plurality of vertices lying inside pupil circle region from the plurality of externally exposed vertices. Further, a segmented iris image is generated by removing the pupil region from the input image based on the curvature of the iris region.

  • Publication number: 20250150805
Abstract: A telecommunications network provides selective roaming for user equipment (UE) devices registered to the network, allowing some UE devices to operate on a roaming network in some geographic regions and disallowing other UE devices to access roaming networks. The telecommunications network maintains mappings between UE devices and roaming permissions for each UE device. When a target UE device requests to attach to a roaming network, the roaming network passes the request, with an identifier of a particular geographic region in which the request was received, to the telecommunications network to query the mappings. If the mappings indicate the target UE device is authorized to access the roaming network in the particular geographic region, the telecommunications network allows the target UE device to attach to the roaming network.

  • Publication number: 20250148623
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that generate 3-dimensional (3D) information related to a user from a continuous time light signal. For example, a process may obtain two-dimensional (2D) information corresponding to a continuous time light signal providing information about a user in a 3D environment. The 2D information may be based on frames comprising images capturing the continuous time light signal at one or more frame rates. The process may further obtain discretization information corresponding to the one or more frame rates. The process may further determine 3D information about the user by inputting the 2D information and the discretization information into a state space model. The state space model may be a continuous time learnable framework for mapping between continuous time 2D scalar inputs and continuous time scalar 3D outputs.

  • Publication number: 20250147192
Abstract: The disclosure provides a method and system for seamless tracking of an asset across indoor and outdoor environments by utilizing tags affixed on assets and anchor nodes deployed across a facility. Each anchor node emits heartbeat signals that are received by neighboring anchor nodes that comprise information pertaining to coordinates and timestamp of anchor nodes. A data acquisition module receives processed data from each tag to listen to heartbeat signals being shared. A tracking module determines live positional information of the asset based on data retrieved from the data acquisition module. The tracking module, by utilizing predictive positioning algorithms, detects an indoor location of each tag affixed on the asset using a UWB chipset and detects an outdoor location of each tag affixed on an asset using a GNSS chipset.
