Abstract: A system and a method for providing cybersecurity services in dual-stack traffic processing within one or more communication networks are disclosed. The system comprises one or more carrier edge nodes to transmit traffic data packets between one or more communication devices and one or more network services within the one or more communication networks by translating Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) addresses to Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) addresses. The one or more carrier edge nodes configured to assign one or more virtual local area network (VLAN) tags to at least one of: outbound communication device-originated data, and inbound communication device-originated data for identifying the traffic data packets. The one or more carrier edge nodes segments at least one of: the outbound and the inbound communication device-originated data into one or more categories for dynamically enforcing one or more security policies to provide the cybersecurity services.

  • Publication number: 20250123974
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method for a first smart NIC of multiple smart NICs of a host computer. Each of the smart NICs executes a smart NIC operating system that performs networking operations for a set of data compute machines executing on the host computer. When the first smart NIC identifies itself as an active smart NIC for the host computer, the first smart NIC sends a first message through a datapath to a second smart NIC to verify whether the second smart NIC identifies as an active smart NIC or a standby smart NIC. If the second smart NIC sends a reply second message to the first smart NIC through the datapath, the first smart NIC (i) determines that the second smart NIC identifies as a standby smart NIC and (ii) operates to process data traffic sent to and from the host computer as the active smart NIC.

  • Publication number: 20250123938
Abstract: In some implementations, an event data analysis system may identify event data that indicates user interactions with an application, each of the user interactions corresponding to an interaction with data filters. The system may generate specificity scores, each of the specificity scores indicating, for a corresponding user interaction, a measure of specificity associated with data filters that correspond to the corresponding user interaction. The system may filter the event data stream based on the specificity scores. The system may generate at least one entropy value for at least one data filter, each entropy value indicating a rate of change of a corresponding data filter. The system may identify, based on the specificity scores and the at least one entropy value, a set of relevant filter values associated with the event data. Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus related to server access. In one approach, a computing device accesses one or more external servers through a gateway. A rate at which the computing device accesses the servers is controlled based on monitoring the context of a computing environment. Examples of the context include available spare processing bandwidth and/or processing rates for a given user or tenant. The rate is regulated by a dynamic rate limiter and is updated in real-time to reflect any changes to the monitored context.

  • Publication number: 20250124448
Abstract: A computerized method electronically signs and authenticates documents using cards with associated private keys. A hash of a document is obtained from a user by a cloud point of sale (POS) server and a document signing request to sign the obtained hash with a card is received. The document signing request is received via the presentation of the card. The server causes the obtained hash to be signed using the private key of the card and an associated signature ID is generated. The signed hash and generated signature ID are stored, and the generated signature ID is provided to the user for use in future authentication of the document. Later, a document authentication request is received that includes the generated signature ID and a hash of a target document to be authenticated. The signed hash is decrypted and compared to the hash of the target document to determine its authenticity.
