  • Patent number: 12262206
Abstract: Systems and methods enable the provisioning of security as a service for network slices. A network device stores definitions of multiple security assurance levels for network slices based on security parameters of assets used in the network slices. The network device stores multiple network slice templates, wherein the multiple network slice templates have different security assurance levels, of the multiple security assurance levels, for a Network Service Descriptor (NSD). The network device receives a request for a network slice with a requested security assurance level, of the multiple security assurance levels, for the NSD, and deploys the network slice using one of the network slice templates that has a security assurance level that corresponds to the requested security assurance level. The network device monitors the security parameters of the assets of the network slice for changes to the security assurance level of the deployed network slice.

  • Patent number: 12257028
Abstract: An electronic device may include body composition analysis circuitry that estimates body composition based on captured images of a face, neck, and/or body (e.g., depth map images captured by a depth sensor, visible light and infrared images captured by image sensors, and/or other suitable images). The body composition analysis circuitry may analyze the image data and may extract portions of the image data that strongly correlate with body composition, such as portions of the cheeks, neck, waist, etc. The body composition analysis circuitry may encode the image data into a latent space. The latent space may be based on a deep learning model that accounts for facial expression and neck pose in face/neck images and that accounts for breathing and body pose in body images. The body composition analysis circuitry may output an estimated body composition based on the image data and based on user demographic information.

  • Patent number: 12261623
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include techniques for encoding and decoding metadata in error correction codes. During read operation, a decoder generates a first output corresponding to the at least one metadata bit having a first state and a second output corresponding to the at least one metadata bit having a second state. When one of the first and second outputs have a zero value, the decoder sets a value of the at least one metadata bit to the first state or the second state corresponding to the first output or the second output having the zero value. When both the first and second outputs are non-zero, the decoder decodes the codeword with the assumption of both the metadata bit having the first state and the second state to determine if the codeword is correctable with the at least one metadata bit.

  • Patent number: 12261755
Abstract: In conventional networked computing systems, stream-processing software is utilized to handle real-time data feeds. For example, a stream-processing software may sort incoming data feeds into data logs, which are then consumed by various application servers within the computing system. However, this consumption process is susceptible to failure as application servers often fail to consume a full payload of data comprising a particular message. As such, a need exists for a streaming architecture with improved fault tolerance. The system provided herein solves the problem via a reliable streaming process, which regularly generates partitions within a series of data lakes. As streaming data is received, the payloads are synced into the different data lakes based on metadata associated with the streaming data. The system can then perform individual quality checks on each partition of data, enabling the system to continuously monitor data quality over time.

  • Publication number: 20250097269
Abstract: Presented herein are systems and methods for reactive hard zoning. In one or more embodiments, a monitoring and visibility services (MVS) controller receives zoning information from a centralized discovery controller and also receives data traffic flow information from traffic samplers that continuously monitor network traffic flows (e.g., using SFLOW) in the network. Responsive to the MVS detecting a violating data traffic flow (i.e., zoning configuration does not allow a host to access a storage port), an enforcement engine of the MVS may cause one or more actions to be taken relative to the detected violation. An action may comprise adding a networking configuration (e.g., ACL or disable (a.k.a., fence) the interface on the switch that the host is attached to) to deny that communication, flagging the communication, etc. The network configuration may be reset to a default policy either automatically (e.g., timeout) or manually via administrative configuration.
