Abstract: In one or more embodiments, a method comprises receiving, at a processor, an input signal from an input device in response to a first actuation of the input device by a driver of an autonomous vehicle. The input device is a device disposed with the autonomous vehicle and has a second actuation of the input device associated with a standard operation of the input device. The second actuation has an actuation pattern different from an actuation pattern of the first actuation. In response to the input signal, a determination is made by the processor to determine whether the autonomous vehicle can perform a maneuver safely. In response to determining that the autonomous vehicle can perform the maneuver safely, a signal is sent by the processor to cause the autonomous vehicle to perform the maneuver.

  • Publication number: 20240314049
Abstract: The embodiments of present disclosure herein address the need of minimizing web services relocation and user centers reallocation to comply with data residency regulations and change in latency threshold for web services based on user demands. The method and system provide a framework that assists enterprises in migrating web services and user center allocation to different data centers with lower additional operational cost from its current configurations and minimal changes (migrations). In case of change in data regulations and invocation frequency from users demand, non-compliant users are allocated to compliant data centers with minimal changes in the original configuration. Though the key decision is to serve the customers effectively, web services need to be deployed across a finite number of servers, there are multiple sub-problems such as minimizing latency and reduction in operational cost that needs to be addressed.

Abstract: Systems and methods are directed to providing multi-level rich autosuggestions for multi-intent search queries. The system receives a query prefix entered in a search box and accesses a database of machine-learning derived intent clusters. Based on the query prefix, a top-ranking machine-learning derived intent cluster is identified, and the search user interface is updated to provide a plurality of first level autosuggestions in an autosuggestion box including a smart suggestion. The smart suggestion is a first level suggestion of the top-ranking machine-learning derived intent cluster. The system receives a selection of the smart suggestion and, in response, replaces the plurality of first level autosuggestions in the autosuggestion box with second level autosuggestions. The second level autosuggestions comprise one or more intent categories that are subsets of the smart suggestion, whereby each intent category comprises a plurality of subcategory suggestions.

Abstract: An electronic device, method, and computer program product prevent inadvertent touch activation of a partially overlapped user interface (UI) element. The electronic device assigns, to a first image layer, a first UI including first UI element(s) that triggers a first response by program code when selected. The electronic device assigns, to a second image layer, a second UI including second UI element(s) that triggers a second response by the program code when selected. In response to determining that the first UI element(s) is displayed and selectable proximate to the second UI elements, the electronic device renders a display output including the first image layer and the second image layer utilizing a rendering scheme that prevents inadvertent selection of the first user interface element(s) during selection of the second user interface element(s). The electronic device presents the display output on the touch screen display.

Abstract: Techniques for determining whether to send an MFA push notification are described. An indication of a request for a user account to access the application service via a primary device is received at an MFA service from an application service. Using a PAN protocol, determine whether the primary device and the secondary device are within a threshold proximity. When the primary device and the secondary device are within the threshold proximity, allows a push notification to be transmitted to the secondary device requesting authentication to grant access to the user account by the primary device, and when the primary device and the secondary device are not within the threshold, refrain from transmitting the push notification.
