  • Publication number: 20240360509
Abstract: This disclosure relates more particularly to risk assessment of preterm delivery (PTD) in the subject and designing a personalized recommendation for the same. Conventional techniques for PTD risk assessment are either invasive or minimally invasive and leaves little time for subjects to take precautionary or corrective medical advice or procedures to reduce or obviate the risk. The present disclosure provides the risk assessment of the PTD, by quantifying a microbial abundance in oral or gut microbiome for a pregnant woman, identifying a certain combination of microbial biomarkers using an ensemble of models for accurate risk assessment of the PTD and subsequently suggesting a personalized recommendation for at risk subject. The present assessment technique is completely non-invasive and further helps in characterizing the risk of the PTD.

  • Publication number: 20240363006
Abstract: A system for optimizing traffic signal timing using telemetry includes: wirelessly connected devices (WCDs), traffic operations centers (TOCs) controlling one or more traffic signals, and control modules storing and continuously executing control logic in a closed loop. The control logic continuously receives real-time WCD telemetry data and performs real-time processing of the telemetry data to match the telemetry data to physical locations. Processed telemetry data is aggregated to determine WCD trajectories. The system selectively performs time-of-day (TOD), offset, and green split optimizations, and receives the WCD trajectories and outputs of the TOD, offset, and green split optimization within an API. The system generates an optimized signal plan from data from the API, and verifies the optimized signal plan. The optimized signal plan is received by the TOCs and selectively uploaded to the traffic signals.

  • Publication number: 20240364630
Abstract: Disclosed are approaches for providing per-application tunnel access, such as virtual private network (VPN) access, in LINUX based systems. In response to an application requesting a network connection, a process identifier of the application and an inode identifier representing a socket for the network connection are obtained. Then, a kernel space map is updated to include the process identifier of the application and the inode identifier. In response to the application making a network connection request, the inode identifier of the application is obtained based at least in part on a source network address, a source port number, a destination network address, and a destination port number. Then, the kernel space map is queried to obtain the process identifier of the application, wherein the inode identifier is a query parameter. Then, a routing policy is identified based at least in part on the process identifier.

  • Publication number: 20240359416
Abstract: A tire curing press includes a top structure and a bottom structure. Hollow squeeze cylinders that can be extended and retracted are mounted underside of the bottom structure. Squeeze columns are mounted inside respective hollow pistons that can slide inside respective cylinders. Grooves are formed at intermediate position on the columns to obtain variable heights between the top and bottom structures. Lock assemblies are assembled concentric to each column above the top structure. The lock assemblies have clamping plates capable of being pulled towards each other to engage with the grooves and to lock the top structure with the columns. Distance sensors are provided to determine a distance between the grooves of each column and the clamping plates when the squeeze cylinders are retracted. Control means are configured to independently disengage the clamping plates from the grooves of each column when a predetermined distance is sensed by the distance sensors.

A virtual machine is hosted by a first hypervisor that supports a first virtual machine format. Snapshots capturing virtual machine disks of the virtual machine are created and backed up to a cloud storage environment. The snapshots are used to restore the virtual machine as a destination virtual machine hosted by a second hypervisor supporting a second virtual machine format different than the first virtual machine format. As part of restoring the destination virtual machine, virtual machine disks of the virtual machine are reformatted according to the second virtual machine format supported by the second hypervisor.

  • Publication number: 20240362756
Abstract: Augmented Denoising Diffusion Implicit Models (“DDIMs”) using a latent trajectory optimization process can be used for image generation and manipulation using text input and one or more source images to create an output image. Noise bias and textual bias inherent in the model representing the image and text input is corrected by correcting trajectories previously determined by the model at each step of a diffusion inversion process by iterating multiple starts the trajectories to find determine augmented trajectories that minimizes loss at each step. The trajectories can be used to determine an augmented noise vector, enabling use of an augmented DDIM and resulting in more accurate, stable, and responsive text-based image manipulation.
