Abstract: Techniques for recommending plans to remediate a network topologies are disclosed. The techniques include logging network topology information identifying relationships between entities in a network topology over a number of time periods. The techniques also include, using the logged network topology information, predicting characteristics of the network at a future time period. The techniques further include computing a signature based on the predicted characteristics and, using the signature, determining whether the predicted characteristics meet remediation criteria. Additionally, the techniques include, in response to determining the predicted characteristics meet the remediation criteria, determining a remediation plan for the current network topology and presenting the plan to a user.

  • Publication number: 20240289643
Abstract: An enterprise's data source relevant to their customers is obtained at predefined intervals of time. The data is processed through classification machine learning models (MLMs) and labeled with features. The labeled data is provided as input to an attrition predicting MLM and one or more lists are provided as output identifying customers likely to leave the enterprise and customers with a high likelihood of remaining with the enterprise when provided an incentive to do so. The one or more lists are provided to enterprise interfaces and/or promotion systems for mitigating customer attrition. In an embodiment, results for the attrition predicting MLM are compared against results predicted by a Recency, Frequency, Monetary (RFM) analyzer in view of subsequent actual observed results for the customers with the enterprise. A continuous feedback loop for retaining the attrition prediction MLM is processed based on the comparison to improve the prediction MLM's F1 accuracy metric.

  • Publication number: 20240289292
Abstract: Embodiments relate to an integrated circuit of an electronic device that coordinates activities with another integrated circuit of the electronic device. The integrated circuit includes an interface circuit and a processor circuit. The interface circuit communicates over a multi-drop bus connected to multiple electronic components. The processor circuit receives an authorization request from the integrated circuit via the interface circuit and the multi-drop bus. The received authorization request relates to authorization to perform an activity on the other integrated circuit. In response to receiving the authorization request, the processor circuit determines whether the other integrated circuit is authorized to execute the activity.

  • Publication number: 20240289238
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved approach to handle recovery failures associated with fatal recovery processes. A software crash is prevented when a program has a failure that would typically crash the software, involving analyzing the failure in an operation, accumulating the failure information, clearing the failure (hence preventing the immediate crash), and not performing the desired operation until the root cause of the failure is fixed.

  • Publication number: 20240289232
Abstract: A system facilitating scaling of topics is provided. During operation, the system can suspend a stateful application of a topic and a stateful backup topic on an event-driven platform. The topic corresponds to a stream of events associated with the application. The system can modify configuration at the platform to allow a new set of partitions of the topic and a new set of backup partitions of the backup topic. The system can identify a state of event records from the application in a previous backup partition and identify a new backup partition allocated to the application. If they are different, the system can transfer the state to the new backup partition. The system can resume the application for generating an updated state, which is maintained at the new backup partition, based on the state and subsequent event records associated with the application.

  • Publication number: 20240291488
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a voltage driver, where a combination of first and second resistance blocks controls a differential voltage swing on the outputs of the voltage driver. Variations of an input voltage are compensated by adding different values of the first resistance block to the second resistance block, while keeping a summation of the first and second resistance blocks at a constant value. Three different circuit diagrams are disclosed to generate these different resistances. In each circuit diagram, one or more control signals change the resistance of the combination of first and second resistance blocks. In some embodiments, the value of the second resistance block is changed by the first resistance block to maintain an impedance matching between a transmitter and a receiver, while changing of the first resistance block compensates for the differential voltage swing.
