  • Publication number: 20240284296
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to enabling direct wireless device-to-device communication between sleepy end devices (SEDs) of a mesh (e.g., Thread®) network. A router may forward packets between end devices of the mesh network. However, if the router is not available, SEDs may not be able to communicate with each other using a mesh protocol. Embodiments presented herein enable end devices of the mesh network to communicate directly, without a router. Some embodiments are directed to changing a role of an end device to temporarily act as a router for a particular target end device. The role change may be based on a trigger event and may be temporary until a target action is performed by the target end device. In some embodiments, the end devices continue to operate as SEDs and use coordinated sampled listening techniques to communicate via the mesh protocol.

  • Publication number: 20240281808
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include computer-implemented apparatuses and processes that facilitate a real-time pre-approval of data exchanges using trained artificial intelligence processes. For example, an apparatus may receive, from a device, application data characterizing an application for an exchange of data involving one or more applicants, and may generate an input dataset based on at least a portion of the application data and on interaction data characterizing the one or more applicants. Further, and based on an application of a trained artificial intelligence process to the input dataset, the apparatus may generate, in real-time, elements of output data indicative of a predicted pre-approval of the application for the data exchange involving the one or more applicants, and may transmit the elements of output data to the device for presentation within a digital interface.

  • Publication number: 20240281342
Abstract: Indexing preferences generally associate each data source with a type of indexing technology and/or with an index/catalog and/or with a computing device that hosts the index/catalog for tracking backup data generated from the source data. Indexing preferences govern which index/catalog receives transaction logs for a given storage operation. Thus, indexing destinations are defined granularly and flexibly in reference to the source data. Load balancing without user intervention assures that the various index/catalogs are fairly distributed in the illustrative backup systems by autonomously initiating migration jobs. Criteria for initiating migration jobs are based on past usage and going-forward trends. An illustrative migration job re-associates data sources with a different destination media agent and/or index/catalog, including transferring some or all relevant transaction logs and/or indexing information from the old host to the new host.

  • Publication number: 20240280678
Abstract: Conventional ESPRIT (Estimation of Signal Parameters via Rational Invariance Techniques) cannot be directly applied to SFCW MIMO radar for localization of targets as the performance would be restricted by geometry of spatial MIMO. Thus, the present disclosure provides a method and system for localization of targets using SFCW MIMO radar. In this method, the channel response of the virtual uniform rectangular array (vURA) obtained by scanning at uniformly spaced frequency points is combined to form a larger array referred as Space-Frequency (SF) array. The 3D localization of targets is done by estimating azimuth angle, elevation angle and range using this SF array. The localization capability of the disclosed method largely depends upon the number of frequency scanning points and enables localizing far more targets than the dimension of the vURA. In addition, the inter-element spacing requirement of vURA is also greatly relaxed.

  • Publication number: 20240281954
Abstract: Safety non-compliance and, simultaneously, productivity metrices are computed and tracked. Objects of interest (such as technicians, tools, cranes, slings, gloves, assets) are identified and tracked from real time streams of cameras through the application of several filtration processes (boundary based, aspect-ratio based, intersection-over-union based, dice coefficient-based, and custom model bounding box filtration techniques) and are then projected onto a 2D homographic map which localizes their position. The localized position is filtered using custom time series and frequency-based filters and aggregated over a set of defined time ranges to obtain productivity and safety KPIs. Non-compliance detections are flagged with video recorded for the given time duration and anonymized with custom processes to ensure data privacy. Productivity KPIs are represented in a dashboard with readings collected at different time intervals like hourly, daily, weekly and monthly.
