  • Publication number: 20240003983
Abstract: Systems and processes are provided to detect an improper external power supply. An example includes a processor in communication with an internal battery. The processor receives an indication that the internal battery is receiving power from an external power supply. The processor determines a first output current of the internal battery. An error is generated indicating the internal battery receives insufficient power from the external power supply. The error indicates the external power supply is faulty in response to the internal battery intermittently discharging while receiving a power from the external power supply.

A media device, such as a surveillance video camera, may include a media server and a WebRTC peer application. The media server may send media stream files using a first data transfer protocol to the WebRTC peer application in the media device. Using a second data transfer protocol, the WebRTC peer application on the media device may establish a secure peer-to-peer connection to a connection handler on a user device. The connection handler on the user device may provide the media stream files to an internet browser on the user device and the internet browser may display the media from the media stream file using an HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) library.

  • Publication number: 20240006533
Abstract: Contacts to p-type source/drain regions comprise a boride, indium, or gallium metal compound layer. The boride, indium, or gallium metal compound layers can aid in forming thermally stable low resistance contacts. A boride, indium, or gallium metal compound layer is positioned between the source/drain region and the contact metal layer. A boride, indium, or gallium metal compound layer can be used in contacts contacting p-type source/drain regions comprising boron, indium, or gallium as the primary dopant, respectively. The boride, indium, or gallium metal compound layers prevent diffusion of boron, indium, or gallium from the source/drain region into the metal contact layer and dopant deactivation in the source/drain region due to annealing and other high-temperature processing steps that occur after contact formation.

  • Publication number: 20240005578
Abstract: The disclosure describes one or more embodiments of systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media that generate a transferred hairstyle image that depicts a person from a source image having a hairstyle from a target image. For example, the disclosed systems utilize a face-generative neural network to project the source and target images into latent vectors. In addition, in some embodiments, the disclosed systems quantify (or identify) activation values that control hair features for the projected latent vectors of the target and source image. Furthermore, in some instances, the disclosed systems selectively combine (e.g., via splicing) the projected latent vectors of the target and source image to generate a hairstyle-transfer latent vector by using the quantified activation values.
