  • Publication number: 20230402029
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing notifications without breaking media immersion. A notification delivery application receives notification data while a media device provides a media asset. In response to receiving the notification data while the media device provides the media asset, the notification delivery application generates a voice model based on a voice detected in the media asset. The notification delivery application converts the notification data to synthesized speech using the voice model and generates, by the media device, the synthesized speech for output at an appropriate point in the media asset based on contextual features of the media asset.

  • Publication number: 20230400995
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein improve on current technology for block-level data replication to cloud computing environments. A new system architecture deploys one or more replication tail proxies in a cloud computing environment, locally (at the cloud) tracks replicated data and determines which replicated data meet criteria for reconstructing a desired point-in-time in the cloud, and persists data blocks received at the replication tail proxy until they are processed as recovery points. The disclosed approach presents resiliency and performance advantages. First, the resiliency of block-level data replication to cloud is improved by deploying the replication tail proxy in the destination cloud. Second, a Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is reduced by enabling faster cloud deployment of virtual machines for disaster recovery, failover, and/or test purposes based on the replicated data.

  • Publication number: 20230401276
Abstract: An experimentation platform controls testing of features by an application server. Based on a user identifier, the experimentation platform determines which feature should be provided, and the application server provides the corresponding version of a user interface. If the user behavior data shows that using a tested feature results in an improvement, the tested feature will be adopted. To determine whether or not an improvement is observed, a statistically significant amount of data is gathered. The experimentation platform gathers data regarding user behavior for the feature versions and, in response, adjusts the frequency at which each version is served. Providing the proposed version to an increased percentage of users decreases the total number of page serves required to gather statistically significant data. The experimentation platform may provide an updated projected time to completion of testing based on the changed percentage of users receiving the proposed version.

  • Publication number: 20230401428
Abstract: This disclosure relates to a method and system for multi-sensor fusion in the presence of missing and noisy labels. Prior methods for multi-sensor fusion do not estimate and correct labels for learning effective models in semi-supervised learning methods. Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a method for learning robust sensor-specific autoencoder based fusion model by utilizing a graph structure to perform label propagation and correction. In the disclosed Graph regularized AutoFuse (GAF) method latent representation for each sensor is learnt using the sensor-specific autoencoders. Further these latent representations are combined and fed to a classifier for multi-class classification. The disclosure presents a joint optimization formulation for multi-sensor fusion where label propagation and correction, sensor-specific learning and classification are executed together.
