  • Patent number: 11842454
Abstract: The present disclosure describes systems and methods that apply artificial intelligence to augmented reality for enhanced user experience. A sensor, such as a camera, on a mobile phone can capture output data of a laptop computer or other computing device, such as a user interface. The captured image can be assessed by the mobile phone to determine an intent of a user and to display a three dimensional rendering, such as an avatar, on the mobile phone overlaid on top of the user interface of the laptop. The avatar can help navigate the user, such as pointing to areas of a webpage of interest, or inviting the user to scroll down on a webpage to a portion of the webpage that may not be in current view.

  • Patent number: 11842060
Abstract: A specification of content to be stored in a cloud storage is received at a client-side component. A portion of the content is divided into a plurality of data chunks. One or more data chunks of the plurality of data chunks that are to be sent via a network to be stored in the cloud storage are identified. It is determined whether a batch size of the one or more identified data chunks meets a threshold size. Based on the determination of whether the batch size meets the threshold size, a cloud storage destination among a plurality of different cloud storage destinations associated with different performance tiers is selected.

  • Patent number: 11843896
Abstract: In aspects of manage a video conference session in a multi-tasking environment, a computing device has a display screen to display a user interface of a foreground active application, such as a device application or a video conference session. The computing device implements a content control module that determines a user is designated as a participant of the video conference session, detects that a remote user connects to the video conference session from a remote device, and determines the device application is the foreground active application with the user interface of the device application displayed on the display screen. The content control module can then initiate to surface the user interface of the video conference session for display on the display screen responsive to the remote user connecting to the video conference session and the video conference session not being the foreground active application.

  • Patent number: 11842468
Abstract: This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that utilize image-guided model inversion of an image classifier with a discriminator. The disclosed systems utilize a neural network image classifier to encode features of an initial image and a target image. The disclosed system also reduces a feature distance between the features of the initial image and the features of the target image at a plurality of layers of the neural network image classifier by utilizing a feature distance regularizer. Additionally, the disclosed system reduces a patch difference between image patches of the initial image and image patches of the target image by utilizing a patch-based discriminator with a patch consistency regularizer. The disclosed system then generates a synthesized digital image based on the constrained feature set and constrained image patches of the initial image.

  • Patent number: 11839780
Abstract: A portable air purifier and method includes a collapsible first tube; a perforated firm second tube that houses the first tube; a fan that brings air into a first end of the first tube and pushes the air through the first tube; a multi-part filter arranged in a concentric configuration inside the first tube; an outlet at a second end of the first tube; and a breathing mask coupled to the outlet. The filter filters the air as the air proceeds through the first tube and the outlet discharges filtered air from the first tube to the breathing mask. The first tube and the second tube may be semi-circular to fit around the neck of a user. The filter may be a corrugated filter. The portable air purifier may include a power source electrically connected to the fan.

  • Patent number: 11841826
Abstract: Techniques for efficiently managing a file clone from a filesystem which supports efficient volume snapshots are provided. In some embodiments, a system may receive an instruction to remove the file clone from the filesystem. The file clone may be a point-in-time copy of metadata of an original file. The system may further—for a file map entry in a filesystem tree associated with the file clone, the file map entry indicating a data block—decrement a reference count in a reference count entry associated with the file map entry. The reference count entry may be stored in the filesystem tree according to a key and the key may comprise an identification of the original file. The system may further reclaim the data block in a storage system when the reference count is zero.

  • Patent number: 11841466
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods that detect an electromagnetic signal in a constant interference environment. In one embodiment, the electromagnetic signal is a light signal. A constant interference detector may detect false signal “hits” generated by constant interference, such as bright light saturation, from valid signals. The constant interference detector determines if there is constant interference for a time period that is greater than a time period of the valid signal. In one embodiment, if a received signal exceeds a programmable threshold value for a programmable period of time, when compared to previously stored ambient light, a control signal is generated to inform the next higher network layer of a sudden change in ambient light. This control signal can be used to either discard the present return or process the signal in a different way. A constant interference detector may be a component of a LIDAR system.

  • Patent number: 11841855
Abstract: Systems and methods for data reporting using a data aggregator and a data retrieval tool such as a file intelligence service. The data aggregator stores two sets of data reporting tables and designates a first one of the sets of tables as an active set and the second one of the sets as a non-active set. The active set of tables stores data corresponding to a most recently successfully completed search. The non-active set stores data retrieved by the data retrieval tool from disparate data sources according to current search. The data in the active set of tables is immediately available for use in requested reports. When the data aggregator completes the current search, it designates the non-active set of tables as the active set so that the data therein becomes available for use in requested reports.
