  • Patent number: 11829140
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling a searchlight mounted to an aerial vehicle. The systems and methods receive angular data representing a directional angle of a beam of the searchlight and location data representing a global location of the aerial vehicle from a sensor system of the aerial vehicle. The systems and methods determine coverage of the beam of the searchlight on ground based on the angular data and the location data. Based on the coverage of the beam, the aerial vehicle is controlled to change the global location, the display is controlled to depict the coverage of the beam on a map including historical coverage of the beam, and/or the searchlight actuator is controlled to adjust the direction of the beam.

  • Patent number: 11829710
Abstract: An illustrator system accesses a multi-element document, the multi-element document including a plurality of elements. The illustrator system determines, for each of the plurality of elements, an element-specific topic distribution comprising a ranked list of topics. The illustrator system creates a first aggregated topic distribution from the determined element-specific topic distributions. The illustrator system determines a global intent for the multi-element document, the global intent including one or more terms from the first aggregated topic distribution. The illustrator system queries a database using the global intent to retrieve a substitute element. The illustrator system generates a replacement multi-element document that includes a substitute element in place of an element in the multi-element document The at least one substitute element is different from the element in the displayed multi-element document.

  • Patent number: 11831736
Abstract: A caching entity may store a cached copy of a service layer resource. An original hosting entity may maintain a registry of the corresponding cached resources. Optionally, the original hosting entity may set cache parameters to govern the lifetime of the cache on a caching entity. The caching entity may keep storing the cached copy of the resource and the original hosting entity may obtain statistics about the cached resource. By knowing the statistics, e.g. how many times a resource is retrieved on each caching entity, the original hosting entity may better manage the resource.

  • Patent number: 11831714
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for programmatically mapping workloads for storage in different classes of a networked computer data storage environment, using a set of rules or data storage hints and properties of the workloads themselves. With the set of data storage hints, metadata sets are assigned to files of the incoming workloads to the networked computer data storage environment based on the properties of the workloads. Then, a target storage class is determined for each file of the workload from the plurality of storage classes present in the networked computer data storage environment. The workload files are then mapped to a logical bucket that is associated with the plurality of storage classes through a shared namespace, with the assigned metadata set for a file cueing the filesystem modules as to which storage class within the logical bucket to direct the various files of the workload to.
