Abstract: An online document system can allow users to track various amendments made over time and corresponding to an original document. The online document system accesses the original document comprising a plurality of content sections and a set of amendment documents each comprising one or more amendments to the original document. The online document system applies a machine-learned model to the original document and the set of amendment documents to identify, for each amendment, a content section of the plurality that corresponds to the amendment and a type of amendment corresponding to the amendment. The online document system generates an amended original document comprising the plurality of content sections modified to include each amendment. The online document system displays the amended original document by displaying each of the plurality of content sections and, in conjunction with each content section, any amendments corresponding to the content section are highlighted.

Abstract: Embodiments of this present disclosure may include a system with a first power converter and a control system. The first power converter may supply a first current to a first backplane while a second power converter is concurrently supplying a second current to a second backplane. The first backplane and the second backplane may electrically couple to one or more load components and the control system. The control system may cause the first power converter to adjust the first current such that the first current and the second current are imbalanced with respect to each other in response to receiving a request to verify that the second power converter is capable of supplying the one or more load components with a target current value while the first current and the second current are imbalanced.

Abstract: Examples disclosed herein include a video-data encoder. The video data encoder may encode a 4×4 data block into a bit stream according to a context adaptive variable length coding. The 4×4 data block may be representative of video data. The video-data encoder may, while encoding the 4×4 data block, ignore at least some coefficients of the 4×4 data block. In some examples, the video-data encoder may ignore the at least some coefficients of the 4×4 data block by setting the at least some coefficients of the 4×4 data block to zero prior to encoding the 4×4 data block. Related devices, systems and methods are also disclosed.

Abstract: The memory device that includes a plurality of memory cells that are arranged in a plurality of word lines. A controller is in electrical communication with the plurality of memory cells. During programming, the controller detects a temperature of the memory device. The controller then programs the memory cells of a selected word line of the plurality of word lines in a plurality of program loops until programming is completed or until the plurality of program loops is greater than a maximum number of program loops. The maximum number of program loops is dependent on the temperature that is detected.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for operating a group watching session. In particular, group communications for a group watching session displaying a media content item to multiple users is initiated, one or more communication clusters for the group communication is generated, a user preference of a first user of the multiple users participating in the group communication is determined, and, based on the user preference, the first user is assigned to a first communication cluster of the one or more communication clusters for communication with another of the multiple users.

Abstract: An embodiment includes identifying a tree type of vegetation depicted in an image. The embodiment segments that portion of the image using edge-detection processing resulting in a contour line that defines a tree perimeter. The embodiment detects that the tree is within a buffer distance from a power line. The embodiment determines the tree's species by comparing the contour line to candidate contour lines of different tree species and calculates a diameter of the tree's crown using the contour line. The embodiment estimates the tree's height using the species and the diameter of the crown. The embodiment calculates a risk value for the tree based on a risk of contact between the power line and the tree and issues a work order to maintain the tree to prevent contact with the power line.

Abstract: A method provides non-mirrored preview of text-based demonstration objects in a locally captured video stream. The method includes identifying a demonstration object within the video stream. The demonstration object contains content that is best when pre-viewed in a non-mirrored orientation. The method includes spatially segmenting the video image into two or more segments, including a demonstration object preview (DOP) segment that encompasses the defined area with the demonstration object and at least one second segment encompassing a remaining portion of the video image. The method includes presenting a preview of the video image on the display device with the remaining portion of the video image mirrored within the preview and at least the DOP segment presented without mirroring in a correct spatial location relative to the remaining portion of the video image. A person presenting the demonstration object receives a non-mirrored presentation preview of the demonstration object.

Abstract: A consumer may initiate a transaction using a transaction account. The transaction account issuer may transmit a notification to the consumer that the transaction has been authorized. The consumer may select requestees with whom to split the transaction. The transaction account issuer may transmit notifications to requestees to request payment from the requestees. The transaction account issuer may transfer the payment from a transaction account of the requestee to the consumer's transaction account.

Abstract: Methods and systems for reporting a provisioning transaction in a wireless communication network are disclosed. According to an implementation, a lawful interception management system (LIMS) of the wireless communication network may receive, from a law enforcement agency (LEA), a request to track activities of a subscriber of services provided through the communication network. The request may be submitted through a third-party server located in a public network. LIMS may transmit the request to a communication service provider (CSP). Upon receiving the request, CSP may forward the request to one or more servers via dedicated interfaces respectively assigned. The one or more servers may be configured to intercept the provisioning transactions that occurred on different radio access networks, e.g., 2G/3G, 4G/LTE, or 5G. Once the provisioning transaction is intercepted, LIMS may be immediately notified via the dedicated interfaces. Information related to the provisioning transactions is reported to LEA.

Abstract: A method for managing a memory associated with PCIe SSD including: generating memory pools of equal size from a predefined size of contiguous physical memory, each of the memory pools manages a memory request of different size and is associated with a respective predefined size of memory request; dividing each of the memory pools into first set of memory pages, each having a size equal to maximum size among the predefined size of the memory request associated with the respective memory pool; dividing each of the first set of memory pages into second set of memory pages, each having a size equal to the predefined size of the memory request associated with respective memory pool; and managing the contiguous physical memory by allocating a memory page from the second set of memory pages fora memory request corresponding to the size of the second set of memory pages.

Abstract: Techniques for selective video conference segmentation are described and are implementable in a video conference setting. The described implementations enable control over segments of video content that are viewable by a given participant in a video conference. For instance, segments of video content are generated that represent spatial portions of video content captured by a host device. The segments can be configured in a variety of ways for inclusion in one or more video streams. The video streams can be communicated to different participants within the video conference, for instance based on a status of a given participant, thus providing different fields of view to different participants.

Abstract: If a paging or notification message is received by a user equipment (UE) when a UE-initiated 5GMM specific procedure or service request procedure is ongoing, a UE may buffer the paging or notification message. To buffer the paging or notification message, the UE may remember the pending mobile terminated transaction and re-attempt the registration or request procedure with the access category 0 (=MT_acc), if the ongoing UE-initiated 5GMM specific procedure or service request procedure fails due to access barring. If a 5GMM specific procedure or service request procedure is received by the network when a MT transaction is ongoing (i.e. a paging message with the access type set to 3GPP access or notification message via non-3GPP access with the access type indicating 3GPP access) the network may complete the incoming MT transaction and may remember the pending mobile terminated transaction and continue it once the MO transaction is completed.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to light-weight and secure payment processing using low-power wide-area network technology. A mobile device may detect communication conditions associated with a payment transaction based on one or more parameters. The mobile device may identify applicability of LPWAN communication based on the communication conditions. Based on identifying the applicability of low-power wide-area network communication, the mobile device may identify a payment terminal within a threshold proximity of the mobile device. The mobile device may connect to the payment terminal via a low-power wide-area network protocol. The mobile device may transmit, via the low-power wide-area network protocol, a request to initiate the payment transaction at the payment terminal. The mobile device may cause the payment transaction to be executed using the low-power wide-area network protocol.

Abstract: Functionalized benzocycloheptenes are one of the most important classes of bicyclic framework that have been investi-gated in different areas of biological activities. The claimed invention provides preparations of benzocycloheptene analogues, inhibitors of PI3K and MK2, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in therapy. The compounds of Formula I, II, III, IV, V and VI may be used as anti type 2 diabetes, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory, antiepileptic, anticancer, antiulcer, CNS-stimulant, and CNS-depressant. These benzocycloheptene derivatives are useful in treatment of PI3K and MK2 related disorders.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to ensuring end-to-end packet delivery in a Common Public Radio Interface (CPRI) circuit with a high jitter packet-based fronthaul network. In one aspect, a method includes determining, at a de-mapper, that at least one data packet scheduled to be played out is not available; inserting an idle data packet into a buffer at the de-mapper for each data packet that is not available; continuously monitoring a packet playout process to (1) identify last valid data packet played out, (2) a number of idle data packets inserted, and (3) a number of data packets currently stored in the buffer; and determining that insertion of idle data packets into the buffer should be stopped and a valid data packet to be played out; wherein inserting the idle data packet and the valid data packet ensure link integrity in data packet transmission between two network elements.

Abstract: Techniques for visual feature based video effects are described and are implementable to determine one or more visual features associated with an individual and generate a modified video feed based on the visual features. The described implementations enable automatic focus of a video feed to a particular focal region based on facial features of the individual. For instance, a visual feature such as pupillary distance or pupil size is determined from a video feed. A focal distance is calculated based on the visual feature, e.g., indicating a region that the individual is focused on. A modified video stream is then generated based on the focal distance, for instance to focus the video stream to a specific focal plane.

Abstract: A system includes a storage system configured to store a plurality of images from a plurality of viewpoints in a scene, and processing circuitry coupled to the storage system. The processing circuitry is configured to: generate a point cloud of the scene based on the plurality of images; determine samples on a ray from a viewpoint of the plurality of viewpoints based on the point cloud; and train a neural network based on the determined samples on the ray to generate a trained model, the trained model being configured to generate image content of the scene from a viewpoint different than the plurality of viewpoints.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a system and a method for connection management. The method includes establishing, by a UE, a connection with a 5G cell. The established connection with the 5G cell is in a current tracking area of a 5G New Radio (NR). Further, the method includes determining, by the UE, one or more Long-Term Evolution (LTE) cells in the current tracking area or registration area that are not accessible to the UE (300). The one or more LTE cells are configured to operate on an LTE frequency. Furthermore, the method includes temporarily deprioritising or disabling, by the UE, a Stand Alone (SA) mode based on the determination of the one or more LTE cells in the current tracking area or the registration area that are not accessible to the UE.
