  • Publication number: 20230280982
Abstract: Real-time resource deployment and integration can include determining one or more performance priorities for a user computer system based on a plurality of system-generated processing metrics. Based on the one or more performance priorities, a candidate cloud-based service can be determined among one or more previously unanalyzed cloud-based services identified by an automated watcher configured to search a plurality of communication network sites. The current performance of the user computer system can be compared to a potential performance of the user computer system were the candidate cloud-based service deployed. A script can be generated in response to determining, based on the comparing, that deploying the candidate cloud-based service improves performance of the user computer system with respect to the performance priorities. The script reconfigures the user computer system in real-time by automatically deploying the candidate cloud-based service.

  • Publication number: 20230281858
Abstract: A method for object detection obtains, from a set of RGB images lacking annotations, a set of regions that include potential objects, a bounding box, and an objectness score indicating a region prediction confidence. The method obtains, by a region scorer for each region in the set, a category from a fixed set of categories and a confidence for the category responsive to the objectness score. The method duplicates each region in the set to obtain a first and a second patch. The method encodes the patches to obtain an image vector. The method encodes a template sentence using the category to obtain a text vector for each category. The method compares the image vector to the text vector via a similarity function to obtain a similarity probability based on the confidence. The method defines a final set of pseudo labels based on the similarity probability being above a threshold.

The camera device includes a lens assembly, an image sensor, a first actuator assembly, and a second actuator assembly. The first actuator assembly translates the lens assembly over a first range along an optical axis, wherein power consumed by the first actuator assembly increases with a distance the lens assembly is actuated along the optical axis from a neutral position of the lens assembly. The second actuator assembly translates the image sensor over a second range along the optical axis, wherein the second range is smaller than the first range. A method of packaging the camera device is further presented where a molded plastic layer is sandwiched between a first high density interconnect (HDI) tape substrate and a second HDI tape substrate. The molded plastic layer includes vias to interconnect electrodes of the first and second HDI tape substrates.

  • Publication number: 20230281515
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a process for metered training of fog nodes within the fog layer. The metered training allows the fog nodes to be continually trained within the fog layer without the need for the cloud. Furthermore, the metered training allows the fog node to operate normally as the training is performed only when spare resources are available at the fog node. The disclosed technology also relates to a process of sharing better trained machine learning models of a fog node with other similar fog nodes thereby speeding up the training process for other fog nodes within the fog layer.
