  • Publication number: 20230171176
Abstract: Keepalive packets are transmitted between a sender node and a receiver node at an interval that varies depending on the transit times of previously transmitted keepalive packets. The transit time is based on when a keepalive packet is transmitted to the receiver node and when a corresponding feedback packet is received from the receiver node. The transmission interval varies depending on the path conditions between the sender node and the receiver node, which may be reflected in the transit time.

  • Publication number: 20230168959
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for self-isolation of power-management integrated circuits (PMICs) of memory modules under and in response to fault conditions. In an embodiment, a PMIC is operably engaged with a memory module that is operably engaged with a platform. The memory module includes a non-volatile-memory block having a power supply controlled by the PMIC. The PMIC has a critical-fault signal pin that can be asserted to shut down the platform. The PMIC determines whether at least one critical fault occurred during a prior cycle, and also determines whether a critical fault occurs during a bootup sequence during a current cycle. Based on determining that a prior-cycle critical fault occurred and that a critical fault occurs during the bootup sequence, the PMIC sets a critical-fault indicator corresponding to the current critical fault; powers down the power supply; and does not assert the critical-fault signal pin.

  • Publication number: 20230169393
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for a mechanism for detecting model bias using a test model to compare predictions for specific categories of data. Thus, the system may detect category-specific model bias and/or present alternative predictions, for example, via overfitted and alternative machine learning models. Another mechanism for detecting model bias is to use residual data from predictions obtained from a machine learning model as the machine learning model processes different datasets (e.g., a training dataset and a compare dataset).

  • Publication number: 20230168743
Abstract: Gesture recognition is a key requirement for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and multiple modalities are explored in literature. Conventionally, channel taps are estimated using least square based estimation and tap corresponding to finger motion is tracked. These assume that noise component is negligible and can reduce the tracking accuracy for low SNR. Thus, to mitigate the above-mentioned limitation, the system and method of the present disclosure explore the feasibility of using speaker and microphone setup available in most of smart devices and transmit inaudible frequencies (acoustic) for detecting the human finger level gestures accurately. More specifically, System implements the method for millimeter level finger tracking and low power gesture detection on this tracked gesture. The system uses a subspace based high resolution technique for delay estimation and use microphone pairs to jointly estimate the multi-coordinates of finger movement.

  • Publication number: 20230168708
Abstract: A multi-clock domain system includes a synchronizer circuit. The synchronizer circuit includes a sequential logic circuit and a synchronizing stage. The sequential logic circuit receives a functional signal that is generated based on a first clock signal that is further associated with a first clock domain, a second clock signal that is associated with a second clock domain, and a reference signal. Based on the first and second clock signals and the reference signal, the synchronizer circuit outputs a logic signal. When the functional signal is activated, the logic signal is activated and remains activated for a predetermined time duration after the functional signal is deactivated. The synchronizing stage receives the second clock signal and further receives the logic signal from the sequential logic circuit, and outputs a synchronized functional signal.
