    Abstract: System, methods, and other embodiments described herein relate to accurately distinguishing a traffic light from other illuminated objects in the traffic scene and detecting states using hierarchical modeling. In one embodiment, a method includes detecting, using a machine learning (ML) model, two-dimensional (2D) coordinates of illuminated objects identified from a monocular image of a traffic scene for control adaptation by a control model. The method also includes assigning, using the ML model, computed probabilities to the illuminated objects for categories within a hierarchical ontology of environmental lights associated with the traffic scene, wherein one of the probabilities indicates existence of a traffic light instead of a brake light in the traffic scene. The method also includes executing a task by the control model for a vehicle according to the 2D coordinates and the computed probabilities.

    Abstract: An ARAIM availability prediction method under a complex terrain environment is provided. The method includes: 1) selecting positioning points according to an air line; 2) calculating terrain shielding angles; 3) predicting visible satellites; 4) determining a fault mode that needs to be monitored; 5) calculating a positioning error variance, an influence coefficient of a nominal deviation, and a variance of a solution separation test statistic; and 6) calculating a threshold of a solution separation test, calculating a protection level, and determining availability. According to the method, the terrain shielding angles are calculated based on terrain model data, and the visible satellites are predicted based on ephemeris data or almanac data to further calculate a protection level, while determining the availability; and the accuracy of availability prediction can, by considering the effect of terrain barriers on the prediction of the visible satellites, be improved to ensure the safety of aircrafts.

    Abstract: A method for evaluating quality of a point cloud map based on matching includes the following steps: S1, acquiring the to-be-evaluated point cloud map as a point cloud matching algorithm input; S2, acquiring a point cloud sample set for matching; S3, matching by using a point cloud matching algorithm, and iterating to obtain estimated three-dimensional coordinate system transforms; S4, calculating point cloud matching errors; and S5, taking an obtained quality evaluation score of the to-be-evaluated point cloud map as a point cloud matching algorithm output. The method for evaluating the quality of the point cloud map based on matching can evaluate the quality of the point cloud map in a full-automatic manner without the dependence on truth values and artificial calibration, so as to improve the quality evaluation efficiency of the point cloud map.

    Abstract: A method for operating a quantum computer is provided. The method includes: obtaining a quantum gate parameter of each quantum gate in a quantum circuit to be simulated; and generating a sub-measurement mode equivalent to the quantum gate based on the quantum gate parameter. The method further includes combining the sub-measurement mode equivalent to each quantum gate to obtain an overall measurement mode equivalent to the quantum circuit to be simulated as a whole; and sorting an operation order of the operation commands of each sub-measurement mode in the overall measurement mode, thereby obtaining the sorted overall measurement mode as a simulation result. This solution transforms the quantum circuit used for quantum computation into an equivalent measurement mode according to a one-way quantum computer computation model. Direct simulation computation on the quantum circuit can be avoided, and accordingly a simulation operation amount of a classical computer is greatly reduced.
