  • Publication number: 20070015699
Abstract: The present invention relates to variants of TRAF2 which demonstrate the ability to inhibit the TNF ? signaling pathway. In particular, applicants have isolated a splice variant of TRAF2 referred to hereinafter as “TRAF2 truncated” or “TRAF2TR” and a TRAF2 expression construct with enhanced dominant negative properties, hereafter referred to as “TRAF2 truncated-deleted” or “TRAF2TD”. Both TRAF2TR and TRAF2TD have the ability to inhibit the TNF ? signaling pathway and in TRAF2TD, this ability is greatly enhanced, greatly reducing the response to TNF ? binding.

  • Publication number: 20060053430
Abstract: A lock mechanism for a digital video player includes an elastic component, a switch, a main body, and a lid pivotally connected to the main body. The switch forms a switch button, a catch and a post for supporting the elastic component. The main body includes a cover and a housing. The cover defines a through hole thereon. The housing mounts at least one support for slideably supporting the switch, a stop plate connecting with the elastic component, and a second notch for accommodating the switch button. The lid mounts a hook on the bottom surface thereof corresponding to the through hole and being capable of hooking the catch when the lid is locked.

  • Patent number: 6998475
Abstract: The present invention relates to variants of TRAF2 which demonstrate the ability to inhibit the TNF ? signaling path-way. • Publication number: 20050142603
Abstract: The present invention relates to human Akt3 proteins and polypeptides. The invention also relates to isolated nucleic acids encoding human Akt3, to vectors containing them and to their therapeutic uses, in particular for gene therapy. Expression of Akt3 inhibits cell death associated with hypoxia, apoptosis or necrosis.

  • Publication number: 20030118033
Abstract: A method for establishing an end-to-end virtual circuit is provided. The method includes establishing a permanent virtual circuit between customer premises equipment and a digital subscriber line access multiplexer. The method further includes embedding information for a permanent virtual connection between a switch and a remote node in a packet transmitted over a static connection in a network. Finally, the method includes establishing a permanent virtual circuit between the switch and the remote node based on the embedded information.
