Abstract: Disclosed are an object detection method and a convolution neural network. The method is performed through hierarchical architecture of the CNN and includes extracting groups of augmented feature maps from an input image through a backbone and two other groups of feature maps, identifying positive and negative samples with an IOU-based sampling scheme to be proposals for foreground and background through a proposal-sampling classifier, mapping the proposals to regions on the groups of augmented feature maps through the region proposal module, pooling the regions to fixed scale feature maps based on ROI aligning, fusing the fixed scale feature maps, and flattening the fused feature maps to generate an ROI feature vector through an ROI aligner for object classification and box regression. Because extracted features in the groups of augmented feature maps range from spatially-rich features to semantically-rich features, enhanced performance in object classification and box regression can be secured.

Abstract: Validating microservice calls is provided. It is determined whether a microservice call to a microservice hosted by a computer is valid based on a policy in a proactive condition map of a validation proxy that matches the microservice call. In response to determining that the microservice call is invalid based on the policy in the proactive condition map that matches the microservice call, the microservice call is blocked to the microservice. It is determined whether the microservice call needs to be redirected to another microservice based on the policy. In response to determining that the microservice call does need to be redirected to another microservice based on the policy, the microservice call is redirected to the other microservice with a callback to the microservice.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods, systems and computer program products for authorization of resource access. According to the method, a first token is assigned by one or more processing units to authorize a client to access at least one protected resource of a resource owner. The first token depends on an access session with the client. A second token associated with at least one long-term protected resource of the resource owner is assigned by one or more processing units to the client based on the assigning of the first token. The second token is independent from the access session. In response to receiving a request including the second token from the client, the at least one long-term protected resource is provided by one or more processing units to the client. In other embodiments, a further method and corresponding systems and computer program products are disclosed.

Abstract: A polarization-maintaining multi-core fiber includes a plurality of fiber core areas and a main outer cladding. The fiber core areas include one central fiber core area, and two or more than two outer fiber core areas equidistantly and uniformly arranged around the central fiber core area that is a polarization-maintaining fiber core area. Each outer fiber core area includes a fiber core and an inner cladding surrounding a core layer. A portion outside the fiber core areas is the main outer cladding. The fiber can greatly enhance spectral efficiency of an optical transmission system, and improve fiber communication capacity. The arrangement of the polarization-maintaining fiber core area provides a waveguide structure with a function of maintaining polarized light, which can be used for transmission of local light.

Abstract: A method of judging lack-of-freon in an air conditioner and an air conditioner control method. The control method includes: acquiring outflow air temperatures at the first air outlet and the second air outlet, and calculating a temperature difference; comparing the temperature difference with a preset temperature difference threshold; and adjusting an opening degree of the expansion valve accordingly. In the method, the opening degree of the expansion valve can be automatically adjusted according to a result of temperature comparison to compensate for the flow rate of freon, so as to improve the cooling or heating efficiency of the air conditioning system and realize the adaptive adjustment of the air conditioner, thereby ensuring the cooling or heating efficiency of the system even if the system lacks freon to a slight extent and effectively reducing energy consumption. The judging method has a higher accuracy of judging result, and is easier to implement.

Abstract: A flyback converter communication channel is provided that comprises a pair of capacitors. A transmitter on a first side of a transformer for the flyback converter transmits a transmitter signal over a first one of the capacitors. The transmitter also transmits a complement of the transmitter signal over a second one of the capacitors. A receiver on a second side of the transformer controls a switch transistor responsive to a high-pass-filtered difference of the received signals from the pair of capacitors.

The fiber core units and the stress units are arranged to form a unit array including one central unit and any unit in the unit array being equidistantly arranged from adjacent units thereof. Provided is at least one pair of stress units, each pair of stress units being arranged symmetrical about one fiber core unit to form a polarization-maintaining fiber core unit. The fiber core units each include a fiber core and an inner cladding surrounding a core layer. A portion outside the fiber core units and the stress units is the main outer cladding. The fiber can greatly enhance spectral efficiency of an optical transmission system, and improve fiber communication capacity.

The clothes drying device solves the problem in existing clothes dryers that a fiber removing component and a collecting container are arranged at dispersed positions on a clothes dryer and occupy a large amount of space, which affects the overall layout of the clothes dryer such that the overall structure of the clothes dryer is not compact, and downgrades the user experience.
