  • Publication number: 20210192532
Abstract: Described herein is a data optimization computer system for optimizing transaction authorization request messages directed to an authorizing party. The computer system includes a historical transaction database, a merchant database, and a data optimization computing device. The historical transaction database stores a plurality of historical transaction records. The merchant database stores a first merchant registered with the optimization computer system. The data optimization computing device may analyze at least a subset of the historical transaction records to generate a set of optimization rules. The set of optimization rules identifies optimal values for an optimized transaction authorization request message. The optimized transaction authorization request message may be associated with an improved likelihood of resulting in a positive request outcome.

  • Patent number: 11015892
Abstract: An anti-dry-fire mechanism for a crossbow includes a slotted mainframe and a movable trigger subassembly engaged with the slot for bidirectional movement between brace and drawn positions. The movable subassembly includes a bowstring latch forward of a bowstring catch and biased toward a bolt-absent position in which the bowstring latch obstructs forward movement of the bowstring past the bowstring latch; in its bolt-present position the bowstring latch permits such movement. With the movable subassembly in the drawn position, a bolt loaded onto the mainframe holds the bowstring latch in its bolt-present position against its bias; with the movable subassembly in the drawn position and no bolt loaded, the bowstring latch is held in its bolt-absent position by its bias. With the movable subassembly in the brace position, engagement of the mainframe and bowstring latch holds the bowstring latch in its bolt-present position against its bias.

  • Patent number: 10979118
Abstract: A distributed beamforming system includes a platform terminal and a plurality of user terminals. The platform terminal includes an antenna array including a plurality of antenna elements. Each antenna element transmits a wide-area beam configured to encompass each of the plurality of user terminals. The platform terminal also includes one or more processors in electronic communication with the antenna array and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data into a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the platform terminal to receive an incoming signal and split the incoming signal into a plurality of individual wireless signals. Each individual wireless signal corresponds to one of the plurality of antenna elements of the antenna array. The system also transmits the plurality of individual wireless signals to the user terminal by the antenna array.

  • Patent number: 10957892
Abstract: A battery interconnect may include a desired current capacity, integrated fusible links, and be manufacturable using cost effective techniques. In some embodiments, a battery interconnect includes a busbar and relatively thinner links. A busbar carries larger currents and accordingly its cross-sectional areas are relatively larger to reduce ohmic losses. A link carries a much smaller current, and a fusible link is configured to break the circuit when the current is above a threshold, thus requiring a relatively small cross-sectional area. These sometime disparate length scales are addressed using several techniques such as layering a busbar and a foil sheet and pressing portions of a busbar to form the links. The links can be affixed to a plurality of battery cells to connect the cells in parallel or series.

  • Patent number: 10830553
Abstract: A crossbow includes a rail assembly and a limb assembly that can be assembled together and disassembled from one another. A release member is rigidly attached to one assembly and a retention member is attached to the other assembly. When the crossbow is assembled the release member is in a retained position; when the crossbow is disassembled the release member is removed from its retained position. In a release position the retention member permits movement of the release member into or out of the retained position; in a retention position the retention member prevents movement of the release member out of the retained position. The release and/or retention members can be adjusted to alter the force urging together the rail and limb assemblies. The retention member can be moved between the release and retention positions without using any tool.
