  • Publication number: 20240119615
Abstract: A set of geometric shapes to be applied by a machine learning model to objects identified in image data is defined. A learning rate of the machine learning model is updated in response to external events. The machine learning model is used to estimate spatial parameters for each of the objects identified in the image data. The spatial parameters are estimated by fitting the objects to the set of geometric shapes. Updates to the spatial parameters are temporally integrated. A spatial estimate of the objects identified in the image data is generated.

  • Publication number: 20230407703
Abstract: An automated system for raising and lowering a person to various desired levels enables the person to more comfortably and safely perform activities and tasks that require them to be at an elevated position relative to floor or ground surface. This system can comprise a lift platform attached to a series of vertical rails. The lift platform moves vertically along the rails, a user elevates to a desired position or height to perform the intended task. This system enables the user to determine their exact position instead of being at predetermined heights from using conventional devices such as ladders or stools. Once on the lift platform, a user can further secure themselves to the lift platform with a brace attached to the vertical rails. This brace would fit around the user's back and side straps would secure the brace to the vertical rails of the system.

  • Publication number: 20230356961
Abstract: A method of automatically moving a dolly apparatus from an initial location to a downstream location is provided. The method includes engaging a component being carried along an elevated conveyor with a synchronization arm of a dolly apparatus such that the dolly apparatus moves with the component. The dolly apparatus includes a base frame and an actuation member movably mounted to the base frame. A synchronization arm is movably mounted to a top of the base frame. The actuation member is operatively connected to the synchronization arm such that actuating the actuation member lowers the synchronization arm to a disengaged position. The actuation member is actuated thereby lowering the synchronization arm to a disengaged position and releasing the component.

  • Publication number: 20230347955
Abstract: A delivery dolly includes a carousel that is rotatably mounted on a support column. The carousel includes a recess on an underside of the carousel. A locking mechanism is biased toward a locked position. The locking mechanism includes a locking wheel on which the carousel rotates until the carousel reaches a preselected angular position. The recess aligns with the locking wheel at the preselected angular position and, due to a bias force, the locking wheel extends into the recess to inhibit rotation of the carousel until the carousel is spun manually, forcing the carousel to rotate and the locking wheel to retract until the locking wheel encounters the recess again.

  • Publication number: 20230077480
Abstract: A fabric sleeve in the form of a strip of material having compatible attachment members along its lateral edges, is applied to a cable by a device located at a site where the cable can be introduced into a conduit. The device includes a beam carried by a post. The beam carries a plurality of formers which receive the sleeve and the cable from rolls and which progressively fold the sleeve around the cable. The beam also carries an attachment device which receives the sleeve and cable from the formers and which connects the attachment members of the sleeve to confine the cable therein. The attachment device can be opened so that the sleeved cable can be removed. The device is operated at the site until the sleeved cable reaches a downstream installation site and the process is repeated at that downstream site.
