  • Patent number: 10726090
Abstract: Described is a system for geocoding social networks by minimizing total variation. A set of social media data from a social media platform having users is received. A social network is generated from the set of social media data based on communication between users. A ground truth set of locations is determined for users who make their locations public, and the ground truth set of locations is propagated across the social network to generate a location estimate for each user. A confidence measure for each location estimate is then generated.

  • Patent number: 10706192
Abstract: A method and EDA software tool for analyzing and verifying that a multi-level power managed system description (IC design) is free of power-state combination conflicts by way of identifying and reconciling voltage level and power-state combination conflicts caused by reused blocks (IP cores). The reconciliation process involves generating Power-State Tables (PSTs) associated with each hierarchical circuit level (e.g., top/system level and lower/block levels) of the IC design using both initial power supply voltage values and reconciled/revised voltage values, which are determined by the main driver voltage levels of each power supply. Initial supply relationships generated using the initial PSTs are then compared with final supply relationships generated using the reconciled PSTs, whereby conflicts are identified when one or more initial supply relationship fails to match a final supply relationship, or when one or more final supply relationship fails to match an initial supply relationship.

  • Publication number: 20200123424
Abstract: Using this product is as simple as counting to three! The package of glue should come with a super glue substance as well as cellulose acetate fiber, the plastic substance used in cigarette filters. The cellulose acetate fiber is placed where the glue will be needed prior to the glue. Once this is in place, you simply apply the glue over it. There should be a little smoke caused by the chemical reaction of the two substances creating instantly dried glue. It will be nearly impossible to separate the items that have been glued. You can even apply a small piece of tape behind the crack or use it to hold the two items together and keep everything in place.

  • Patent number: 10608769
Abstract: A boundary of a wireless network is monitored for incoming wireless signals that may interfere with an ability of a first wireless computing device to connect to the wireless network within the boundary of the wireless network. For an incoming wireless signal determined to interfere with the ability of the first wireless computing device to connect to the wireless network within the boundary of the wireless network, a directional opposing outgoing wireless signal is emitted to counteract the incoming wireless signal and to stop the incoming wireless signal from further interfering with the ability of the first wireless computing device to connect to the wireless network within the boundary of the wireless network.

  • Patent number: 10586985
Abstract: A positive electrode material having a nominal stoichiometry Li1+y/2Co1?x?y?z?dSizFexMyM?d(PO4)1+y/2 where M is a trivalent cation selected from at least one of Cr, Ti, Al, Mn, Ni, V, Sc, La and/or Ga, M? is a divalent cation selected from at least one of Mn, Ni, Zn, Sr, Cu, Ca and/or Mg, y is within a range of 0<y?0.10 and x is within a range of 0?x?0.2. The use of double compositional modification to LiCoPO4 increases the discharge capacity from ˜100 mAh/g to about 130 mAh/g while retaining the discharge capacity retention of the singly Fe-substituted LiCoPO4. Additional compositional modification to include Si increases the cycle life and greatly improved the coulombic efficiency to between 97-100% at a C/3 cycle rate.

  • Publication number: 20200059759
Abstract: In an approach for notifying a user of a location of a device, a processor receives a first location of a first device. A processor determines that the first device has been separated from a user of the first device. A processor determines a second device located at, within a first predetermined threshold, the first location. A processor sends a first notification to the second device, wherein the notification includes, at least, that the first device is located nearby.

  • Patent number: 10559317
Abstract: An apparatus includes a beamformer, an echo suppression control unit, and a residual echo cancellation unit. The beamformer is configured to pass desired portions of audio signals and to suppress undesired portions of the audio signals. The beamformer includes a speech blocking filter to prevent suppression of near-end desired talker speech in the audio signals and an echo suppression filter to suppress echo in the audio signals. An echo suppression control unit is coupled to the beamformer and receives signals and determines whether to dynamically adapt the speech blocking filter or to dynamically adapt the echo suppression filter. The speech blocking filter remains unchanged during dynamic adaptation of the echo suppression filter, and the echo suppression filter remains unchanged during dynamic adaptation of the speech blocking filter. The residual echo cancellation unit is coupled to the beamformer and receives output audio signals from the beamformer and further suppresses residual echo.

  • Patent number: 10546233
Abstract: Described is a system for explaining how the human brain represents conceptual knowledge. A semantic model is developed, and a behavioral exam is performed to assess a calibration subject into a cohort and reveal semantic relationships to modify a personalized semantic space developed by the semantic model. Semantic features are extracted from the personalized semantic space. Neural features are extracted from neuroimaging of the human subject. A neuroceptual lattice is created having nodes representing attributes by aligning the semantic features and the neural features. Structures in the neuroceptual lattice are identified to quantify an extent to which the set of neural features represents a target concept. The identified structures are used to interpret conceptual knowledge in the brain of a test subject.
