  • Publication number: 20240083149
Abstract: A laminate film, package formed from the laminate film, and method for constructing the laminate film are provided. The laminate film includes a barrier layer, sealing layer, bonding layer, and thermochromic ink layer. The thermochromic ink layer includes thermochromic ink such that the thermochromic ink is trapped between the barrier layer and sealing layer. The thermochromic ink has a first visual appearance and is adapted to permanently change to a second visual appearance upon exposure to certain pre-determined conditions during a sealing process and to maintain permanence of the second visual appearance during post-sealing processes. The package includes the laminate film, a substrate, and a packaged article. The edges of the laminate film are sealed to the substrate and form a seal. The seal forms a perimeter about the article and has the second visual appearance, including a different color, such that the integrity of the seal is quickly and confidently verifiable by an observer.

  • Patent number: 11898546
Abstract: A tubing assembly is provided that can comprise a plurality of tubes or lumens that can be disposed within a head of a peristaltic pump. The tubing assembly can provide a flow rate or volume capacity that is generally equal to or greater than that achieved with a comparable prior art tube while operating at higher pressures than that possible using the prior art tube. Further, in accordance with some embodiments, the tubing assembly can achieve a longer working life than a comparable prior art tube, and the load on the pump motor can be reduced such that the pump life is increased and/or a larger pump motor is not required to achieve such advantageous results.

  • Patent number: 11861300
Abstract: A system for maintaining links and revisions for documents is described. The system comprises a productivity server configured to provide a document collaboration service and having processors and a memory storing program data. The program data configures the processors to: receive requests indicating revisions on the documents, including a first request that indicates a first revision to a first document, and a second request that indicates a second revision to a second document. For each request, a workspace revision counter shared by, and indicating a revision state of, the documents is incremented. The workspace revision counter is incremented a first time for the first request and a second time for the second request. Revisions corresponding to the each request are queued in a workspace revision queue shared by the documents. The revisions are caused to be performed on the documents that correspond to the each request.

  • Patent number: 11839453
Abstract: Soft capacitive pressure sensors for continuous wearable health monitoring applications are described herein. Wrinkled gold thin films on elastomeric substrates are used as robust parallel plate electrodes to create a robust integration with the polymer, allowing repeated normal force to deform the thin film without failure. By incorporating micro-ridged structures that support the counter electrodes to create air cavities within the elastomeric dielectric layer, pressure sensitivity is further increased. The pressure sensors are configured to measure human physiological signals such as pressure exerted from a radial pulse on a skin's surface. The radial pulse pressure detected by the sensor can be correlated to an arterial blood pressure. Calibration of said pressure sensors using a neural network allows for determination of absolute blood pressure.
