  • Publication number: 20020070528
Abstract: A tow trailer capable of carrying a vehicle and subsequent recreational vehicles. The trailer is made from common angle, channel, pipe and tube materials found in most hardware stores. The trailer is seated on a wheeled, fendered chassis, with rigid and flexible supports for easy on/off load and safety. The trailer allows the user the option of carrying a vehicle up to pick-up truck size on the lower level and a trailer with recreational vehicles on the top level. The top level lowers and raises to allow on/off load. The trailer has an inclusive braking and winching system to allow one person operation.

  • Patent number: 6283424
Abstract: An adapter plate replicates an interface to a down rigger mount such that the plate is received in the mount in the same manner as a down rigger. The down rigger mount includes a releasable means for securely receiving a down rigger and releasing the down rigger from its mount when the down rigger is not in use. The adapter plate is similarly secured and released. The adapter plate is further configured to receive a fishing pole holder mount. To enable a pole holder to be mounted to an incompatible down rigger mount, the pole holder, otherwise mountable to a boat gunnel, is mounted instead to matching bolt holes on the adapter plate. Because there is a variety of down rigger mounts, each different from the others, and it is not necessarily known which down rigger mount will be encountered on any given outing, a plurality of adapter plates is provided to achieve the desired interface to one of several down rigger mounts, each plate still receiving the pole holder mount.

  • Patent number: 5639242
Abstract: An educational device for motivating, monitoring and rewarding children's task performance or the like, that is motivational, fun and easy to use, in a continuous game format. A learning system 8 is typically comprised of a base material 10, having a plurality of sides and edges, with one side designated as a playing surface 12, on which is demarcated an area resembling a road 14 in a continuous circuit form. The system 8 can be mounted to any flat vertical surface by means of mounting pads 36. Loop fastener material 18a is attached to a plurality of discrete areas 16a within the road area 14, and the discrete areas 16a are organized into a circuitous route. A second plurality of discrete areas 16b with loop fastener material 18b attached, form temporary playing piece 32 waiting areas. The system 8 utilizes separate areas 20 and 22 to identify the start and reward positions 20 and 22.

  • Patent number: 5299651
Abstract: A cab suspension system comprises an active, computer controlled damping mechanism positioned between the cab and the truck frame, at the rear of the cab. Further, corner mounted high and low level passive damping mechanisms are provided at the front of the cab. Also, a torsion bar is engaged centrally across the frame members beneath the cab, the torsion bar controlling side roll and sway, as well as acting as a radius rod to limited fore-aft travel of the cab.

  • Patent number: 4592442
Abstract: A control system for a two-wheel/four-wheel drive vehicle having a rear axle which can be operated in a high speed mode or a low speed mode and a front axle which can be drivingly coupled to the engine power train to place or maintain the rear axle in the low speed mode when the front axle is sensed to be engaged. The control system includes several switches. A first switch is provided for sensing when the front axle is drivingly coupled to the power train. A second switch is associated with a speed selection control system of the vehicle for causing the power train to be driven in a low speed mode or a high speed mode. A third switch is coupled to the first switch and is responsive to sensing of the front axle being drivingly coupled to the power train for preventing the second switch from causing the rear axle to be driven in the high speed mode and for forcing the rear axle to be driven in the low speed mode so long as the front axle is drivingly coupled to the power train.

  • Patent number: 4118769
Abstract: A circuit comprising first and second rectifiers for supplying rectified current or voltage to a storage capacitor located at the output of the circuit. The circuit includes a control circuit operatively coupled between the output and the silicon controlled rectifiers to insure that alternate ones of the silicon controlled rectifiers will supply the rectified current or voltage to the storage capacitor as needed.
