    Abstract: A method for accessing a hybrid network including a wide area network and a distributed network, a gateway apparatus, a wireless terminal and a gateway communication system are disclosed for reducing the power consumption of the wireless terminal which is an access gateway.     Abstract: A buffer information report can be sent to a system station from a node for relaying communications between at least one user station and the system station. The report is generated based on a report format used for uplink reporting by a user station. An indication is also sent to the system station that the node for relaying has different buffering capabilities than the user station. At the system station the buffering capabilities of the node for relaying can be determined based on the buffer information report and the indication. Communications between the system station and the node for relaying can then be controlled accordingly.

The method comprises the steps of reading, by a user equipment (UE), the Access Class (AC) barring parameters of the serving cell which are broadcast from a base station, and performing an AC barring check; calculating the cell reselection values of the serving cell and the adjacent cells according to the cell reselection parameters broadcast by the base station when the AC barring check fails; and ranking the calculated cell reselection values, selecting by the UE the cell corresponding to the maximum value of the calculated cell reselection values as the serving cell of the UE.

In one embodiment of the handover processing method, a source eNB selects a target eNB from neighboring eNBs that can accept a handover request from a mobile terminal, and notifies a selection result to the mobile terminal; if handover information corresponding to the mobile terminal is received by an neighboring eNB that can accept the handover request of the mobile terminal within a preset handover waiting time, the neighboring eNB determines that it is a target eNB and cooperates with the mobile terminal to perform a handover; otherwise, the neighboring eNB determines that it is a prepared eNB and reduces its resources reserved for the mobile terminal. The present invention can effectively improve the successful handover probability.

    Abstract: A current balance scheme for driving LED strings is disclosed. A power supply unit provides a driving voltage to drive a plurality of LED strings. A feedback selector is configured to select a minimum feedback signal indicative of the driving voltage to the power supply unit for regulating the driving voltage. Based on the minimum feedback signal, the driving voltage gets a minimum value to sufficiently drive the plurality of LED strings.
