  • Patent number: 11513930
Abstract: Techniques include collecting current logs from distributed sources, selecting a group of the current logs that are from a related source of the distributed sources, and generating a feature vector using the group of the current logs. A current status model is created for the feature vector using the group of the current logs. One or more anomalies are determined in the group of the current logs based on a difference between the current status model and a reference status model, the reference status model being based on history logs.

  • Publication number: 20220360546
Abstract: Email has become commonplace as a means to communicate among parties non-synchronously by exchanging email messages. Some communications, however, may be more effective in real-time or in near real-time. For instance, service providers may offer a chat feature to accommodate real-time or near real-time help or service communications with customers. However, in this case, the user is likely required to enter credentials and/or context information to transition into a different communication type with the service provider. The present systems and methods provide a continuous conversation experience for the user whereby a message recipient of one message type (e.g., email, text, etc.) may continue a conversation in a different message type (e.g., a chat session, instant message, etc.) without manually providing message context for communicating via the second message type.

  • Patent number: 11474892
Abstract: Techniques include generating a log sequence for new logs that have been received, searching a log sequence database for the log sequence having been generated, and determining that the log sequence is anomalous in response to not finding an identical log sequence in the log sequence database. In response to the log sequence not being found in the log sequence database, the log sequence is compared to a graph of historical log sequences to find a closest sequence path to one or more historical log sequences. An anomaly of the log sequence is diagnosed based on an occurrence at which the log sequence deviates from the closest sequence path of the one or more historical log sequences.

  • Publication number: 20220318454
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and system for a wind stress coefficient expression by comprehensively considering impacts of an average wind speed, a fetch and a water depth, and relates to the field of wind-wave-current numerical simulation studies. Based on a wind-wave-current coupling interaction mechanism in lakes, oceans and other waters, two dimensionless numbers that can represent a wind-wave-current interaction strength: a fetch Froude number and a fetch Reynolds number, are constructed, a form of a wind stress coefficient expression with an undetermined coefficient is established, and then the undetermined coefficient is obtained by using a nonlinear regression method with reference to experimental and measured data to obtain a final wind stress coefficient expression.

  • Publication number: 20220269977
Abstract: Mechanisms for performing intelligent federated machine learning (ML) model updates are provided. A plurality of ML model updates, and a plurality of dataset sketch commitment data structures (sketches), are received from a plurality of participant computing systems. Each sketch provides statistical characteristics of a corresponding local dataset used by a corresponding participant to train a local ML model. A potentially malicious participant identification operation is performed based on an analysis of the plurality of sketches to identify one or more potentially malicious participants based on differences in sketches. ML model updates received from participant computing systems identified as potentially malicious participants are discarded to thereby generate a modified set of updates. The federated ML computer model is updated based on the modified set of updates.

  • Patent number: 11423237
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for generating a target sequence from an input sequence. In one aspect, a method comprises maintaining a set of current hypotheses, wherein each current hypothesis comprises an input prefix and an output prefix. For each possible combination of input and output prefix length, the method extends any current hypothesis that could reach the possible combination to generate respective extended hypotheses for each such current hypothesis; determines a respective direct score for each extended hypothesis using a direct model; determines a first number of highest-scoring hypotheses according to the direct scores; rescores the first number of highest-scoring hypotheses using a noisy channel model to generate a reduced number of hypotheses; and adds the reduced number of hypotheses to the set of current hypotheses.

  • Patent number: 11403326
Abstract: Aspects of the invention include determining whether a first log message written by an application during a first job is a message of interest based on a context of the first log message and a probability that the application writes the message for a same job as the first job. Calculating in response to determining that the first log message is a message of interest and by the processor, a correlation score based on intersecting tokens between the first log message and a second log message. Determining the first log message correlates to the second log message based on comparing the score to a threshold score.
