    Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for sweat inducement, which is useful in diagnostics, such as diagnosis of cystic fibrosis in a patient. The method includes applying a microneedle patch, which comprises microneedles which comprise pilocarpine or another sweat-inducing agent, to the skin of the patient effective to cause the microneedles to penetrate across the epidermis and into the dermis releasing the pilocarpine or another sweat-inducing agent into the skin in an amount effective to induce secretion of sweat from the skin. The secreted sweat can be collected and analyzed, for example by measuring chloride concentration in the sweat, which may be indicative of cystic fibrosis.

Methods include detecting a faulty or malfunctioning heating element in a three-phase electrical connection, determining counterpart heating elements in non-faulty legs of the three-phase electrical connection, deactivating select heating elements in each non-faulty leg of the three-phase electrical connection, and maintaining output of the electrical heater at a reduced power setting. Similarly, heating elements in each leg may be selectively deactivated to reduce power consumption in a fluid heater system in response to reduced demand or grid requirements.

One method of informing the UE of priorities associated with cells that support a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) service may include the UE receiving a priority indicator from the base station. The priority indicator may inform the UE of priorities associated with one or more cells that support the V2X service. The priority indicator may be received in a radio resource control (RRC) connection release message. The UE may use the priority indicator to determine which cells of the set of cells support the V2X service. Accordingly, the UE may perform a cell reselection procedure based at least in part on the priority indicator, the measured parameters, or both. By informing the UE of priorities associated with cells that support the V2X service, the V2X service may have greater continuity at the UE, thereby increasing the performance and quality of the V2X service.
