    Abstract: A method, system, medium, and implementations for computer-aided preoperative surgical planning are described. Input data acquired with respect to a part of a patient is received by the system. The part corresponds to an organ, e.g., lung, of the patient to be operated on and includes one or more lesions to be removed during an operation. Then, an anatomic 3D model of the part of the patient is generated. Based on the generated anatomic 3D model, a preoperative plan for linear-cutting stapler resection of the one or more lesions from the organ to be carried out during the operation is obtained. The stapler cartridge size and the staple length are estimated based on the preoperative plan. Further, the resection based on the preoperative plan is visualized.

    Abstract: A method for reducing wiggling in a line includes forming a silicon patterning layer over a substrate and depositing a mask layer over the silicon patterning layer. The mask layer is patterned to form one or more openings therein. The mask layer is thinned and the one or more openings are widened, to provide a smaller height-to-width ratio. The pattern of the mask layer is then used to pattern the silicon patterning layer. The silicon patterning layer is used, in turn, to pattern a target layer where a metal line will be formed.

The control device reads the first firmware and uses the first firmware to update the second firmware, or receives a third firmware transmitted by a host terminal device and uses the third firmware to update the second firmware. The control device executes the updated second firmware to generate an image signal corresponding to the updated second firmware to the display panel. Therefore, the efficiency of updating the firmware of the display device may be effectively increased, and the convenience of use is increased.

    Abstract: The present teaching relates to surgical procedure assistance. In one example, a first image of a patient captured prior to a surgical procedure is received. A treatment plan is generated based on the first image. The treatment plan includes information related to one or more surgical instruments. A second image of the patient captured after the surgical procedure has been initiated is received. The treatment plan is dynamically adjusted based on a pose of any of the one or more surgical instruments identified from the second image. A third image of the patient captured after a lesion is treated by at least one of the surgical instruments based on the adjusted treatment plan is received. Whether a further treatment to the lesion is needed is determined based on the third image. Upon determining a further treatment is needed, an updated treatment plan is dynamically generated based on the third image.

A first N-type transistor determines whether to turn the path between a core circuit and a ground terminal on or off according to the voltage level of a specific node. An electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit is coupled between an input/output pad and the core circuit to prevent an ESD current from passing through the core circuit. The ESD protection circuit includes a detection circuit and a releasing element. The detection circuit determines whether there is an ESD event at the input/output pad and generates a first detection signal according to the detection of the ESD event at the input/output pad.
