    Abstract: This invention provides a calibration target with a calibration pattern on at least one surface. The relationship of locations of calibration features on the pattern are determined for the calibration target and stored for use during a calibration procedure by a calibrating vision system. Knowledge of the calibration target's feature relationships allow the calibrating vision to image the calibration target in a single pose and rediscover each of the calibration features in a predetermined coordinate space. The calibrating vision can then transform the relationships between features from the stored data into the calibrating vision system's local coordinate space. The locations can be encoded in a barcode that is applied to the target, provided in a separate encoded element, or obtained from an electronic data source. The target can include encoded information within the pattern defining a location of adjacent calibration features with respect to the overall geometry of the target.

    Abstract: This invention provides a system and method for selecting the correct profile from a range of peaks generated by analyzing a surface with multiple exposure levels applied at discrete intervals. The cloud of peak information is resolved by comparison to a model profile into a best candidate to represent an accurate representation of the object profile. Illustratively, a displacement sensor projects a line of illumination on the surface and receives reflected light at a sensor assembly at a set exposure level. A processor varies the exposure level setting in a plurality of discrete increments, and stores an image of the reflected light for each of the increments. A determination process combines the stored images and aligns the combined images with respect to a model image. Points from the combined images are selected based upon closeness to the model image to provide a candidate profile of the surface.

    Abstract: A method of heat treating a steel workpiece may include two heat treatment stages. In the first stage, the steel workpiece may be heated to a first temperature greater than or equal to its A1 temperature, but less than its A3 temperature to transform the microstructure of the steel workpiece into a multiphase microstructure including grains of ferrite and grains of austenite having an average grain diameter. In the second stage, the steel workpiece may be heated to a second temperature greater than the first temperature to increase the average grain diameter of the grains of austenite. Thereafter, the steel workpiece may be cooled to ambient temperature at a rate sufficient to retain a major portion of the grains of austenite obtained during the first and second heat treatment stages. The as-heat treated steel workpiece may comprise a retained austenite phase dispersed within a ferrite matrix phase at ambient temperature.

The method comprises: LZ-encoding electricity load data collected by the smart meter whenever the smart meter collects the electricity load data; storing the LZ-encoded electricity load data in a temporary database through a smart grid communication channel; reading the electricity load data from the temporary database every preset second duration, wherein the read electricity load data is electricity load data stored in the temporary database within the second duration before a corresponding reading time point; and LZ-decoding the read electricity load data, SAX-compressing the LZ-decoded electricity load data, and storing the SAX-compressed electricity load data in a data center. The present invention has high compression rate, reduces the transmission burden for communication lines and storage burden for the data center, and improves the efficiency of smart electricity data analysis and mining.

The molecular sieve-multiple oxide composite integral extraction type denitration catalyst has a denitration efficiency more than 80% at the temperature ranging from 250° C. to 420° C. in the presence of 10% steam and 500 ppm sulfuric dioxide.

The ESNA may be produced by electrochemical deposition process(es) utilizing a multi-layered membrane with a conductive substrate as a template, where the multi-layered membrane has layers with pores corresponding to the dimensions of the desired segments of the segmented nanostructure. When a desired shape is desired on the tip of the nanostructure, deposition may continue for a predetermined time after the pore is filled.
