    Abstract: Some embodiments provide novel methods for performing services for machines operating in one or more datacenters. For instance, for a group of related guest machines (e.g., a group of tenant machines), some embodiments define two different forwarding planes: (1) a guest forwarding plane and (2) a service forwarding plane. The guest forwarding plane connects to the machines in the group and performs L2 and/or L3 forwarding for these machines. The service forwarding plane (1) connects to the service nodes that perform services on data messages sent to and from these machines, and (2) forwards these data messages to the service nodes. In some embodiments, the guest machines do not connect directly with the service forwarding plane. For instance, in some embodiments, each forwarding plane connects to a machine or service node through a port that receives data messages from, or supplies data messages to, the machine or service node.

    Abstract: The disclosure provides an approach for computing service paths for a service chain identifying a sequence of services. One method includes including information about a plurality of hosts in a heap. Each of the plurality of hosts includes at least one service virtual computing instance (SVCI) configured to provide at least one of the services of the service chain. The information includes, for each of the plurality of hosts, a number of service paths computed for the service chain at the host and one of a number of services provided by unused SVCIs of the host or a number of consecutive services provided by unused SVCIs of the host. The method further includes selecting a host from the heap based on the information. The method further includes generating a first service path for the service chain, the first service path identifying at least one SVCI of the selected host.

    Abstract: This invention provides a system and method for selecting the correct profile from a range of peaks generated by analyzing a surface with multiple exposure levels applied at discrete intervals. The cloud of peak information is resolved by comparison to a model profile into a best candidate to represent an accurate representation of the object profile. Illustratively, a displacement sensor projects a line of illumination on the surface and receives reflected light at a sensor assembly at a set exposure level. A processor varies the exposure level setting in a plurality of discrete increments, and stores an image of the reflected light for each of the increments. A determination process combines the stored images and aligns the combined images with respect to a model image. Points from the combined images are selected based upon closeness to the model image to provide a candidate profile of the surface.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a failure positioning method for positioning leakage defect cell between the gate and the active region of transistor cells arranged in an array. The positioning method comprises: measuring the resistance between a first metal wire connecting the active regions and a second metal wire connecting the gates, and positioning a first region where the defect cell is located by resistance ratio; electrically isolating the active region contact holes and the gate contact holes from each other; shorting the gate contact holes in the first region; and performing active voltage contrast analysis on the plurality of columns of transistor cells in the first region to position the leakage defect in the first region by comparing the voltage contrast images. With the positioning method provided by the present invention, the transistor cell having a leakage defect at nA level may be accurately found from a plurality of transistor cells arranged in an array.

The molding device includes a rotating table and a plurality of molding molds thereon. Each molding mold can be moved toward or away from the drainage device by the rotating table. Each molding mold has a molding cavity. At least one part of the molding cavity includes a plane, and at least one part of the molding cavity includes a curved surface to extrude the glass melt with such different surface forms. The crystallizing device crystallizes the curved glass member to achieve the curved crystallized glass member. A method for manufacturing such glass is also provided.
