    Abstract: A method for rapidly displaying pictures on an electronic device receives an identifier of a picture to be displayed. If processed data of the picture exists in a second memory of the electronic device, the processed data is retrieved from the second memory, and the picture is displayed. Otherwise, if processed data of the picture does not exist in the second memory, raw data of the picture is retrieved from a first memory of the electronic device, and the processed data is generated by encoding the raw data. The generated processed data are stored and the picture is displayed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a grinding tool and a method for fabricating the same. The method comprises: (A) providing a grinding plate having a working surface and a non-working surface, a mold having an adjustment surface, and a backplane; (B) getting the working surface of the grinding plate to fit precisely and be retained on the adjustment surface of the mold by a binder; (C) forming an adhesive layer on the non-working surface of the grinding plate; (D) disposing the backplane on a surface of the adhesive layer to retain the backplane over the non-working surface of the grinding plate by the adhesive layer; and (E) removing the binder to separate the mold from the grinding plate. Accordingly, the present invention can significantly improve the precision and lifetime of products, reduce the cost of production, and enhance the machining efficiency.

    Abstract: A light guide bar with a patterned surface for a flicker free light source comprising a light emitting diode (LED) light source disposed on each end of the light guide bar is disclosed. A light diffusing pattern is disposed on a light emitting surface. The light diffusing pattern comprises a plurality of notches that are smallest closest to the LED light sources and largest in the center of the light guide bar. A light reflecting pattern is disposed on a light reflecting surface opposite the light diffusing pattern on the light emitting surface. Light emitted by the LED light sources enters the light guide bar through the ends. The light travels through the light guide bar at various angles and is reflected by the light reflecting pattern on the light reflecting surface. The reflected light is then emitted through the light diffusing pattern on the light emitting surface.

The polygonal light pipe comprises a transparent or semitransparent material. A patterned surface on the light emitting surface of the light pipe diffuses the emitted light. A patterned surface on the surface of the light pipe opposite the light emitting surface reflects light. The plurality of heat pipe assemblies comprise heatsinks and heat pipes. The heat pipes are hollow pipes that are filled with a liquid such as water or coolant and cooperate with the heatsinks to dissipate heat.

    Abstract: In a communication machine room wideband noise suppression system, a sensing unit detects a noise source produced by a fan during the operation thereof and generates a noise input signal and a feedback signal, which are sent to a signal amplifying unit for signal amplification. The amplified signals are then sent to a signal converting unit and converted into digital signals. A multi-channel hybrid controller receives the digital signals and makes corrections and conduct rapid convergence algorithm to derive a reverse digital signal, which is sent to the signal converting unit and converted into a reverse analog signal. The reverse analog signal is sent to the signal amplifying unit for power amplification to generate a control signal for driving a loudspeaker unit to produce interfering acoustic wave, so as to cancel out the noise source and achieve the purpose of eliminating wideband noise.

    Abstract: In a fan noise canceling system, a feedforward signal generated when a fan speed change occurs and a feedback signal read by a sensor are sent to a signal amplifying unit for signal amplification, and the amplified signals are then sent to a signal converting unit for converting into a digital signal. A hybrid controller receives and corrects the digital signals sent thereto, and conducts rapid convergence algorithm to derive a reverse digital signal. The reverse digital signal is sent back to the signal converting unit for converting into a reverse analog signal, which is then sent to the signal amplifying unit for power amplification and generating a control signal to drive a loudspeaker to produce a reverse acoustic wave, which cancels out wave of fan noise to effectively reduce fan noise without adversely affecting the heat dissipation effect of the fan.

    Abstract: A fan enabling increased wind pressure and air volume includes a driving circuit unit, a signal level unit, a signal amplifying unit, and a microcontroller unit (MCU). The driving circuit unit drives the fan to rotate; the signal level unit receives a current signal from the driving circuit unit and corrects the level of the received current signal, and sends the corrected current signal to the signal amplifying unit; the signal amplifying unit receives and amplifies the corrected current signal, and sends the amplified current signal to the MCU; and the MCU calculates based on the amplified current signal to generate a control signal to the driving circuit unit, so that the driving circuit unit follows the control signal to drive the fan to rotate and produce increased wind pressure and air volume to achieve effective heat dissipation at reduced power consumption.

    Abstract: A template, stamp or mold is fabricated by using a low-k material. The structure of the low-k material is transformed when it is baked in a novel heating process. Thus, the template is fabricated to obtain a high hardness and a high aspect-ratio with a low dose of electron beam lithography and an optimized baking process. Consequently, the residual; layer at photoresist bottom is reduced and the time for reactive ion etching is saved. In the end, the stability and the integrity is improved. Hence, the present invention is a solution for fabricating a template, stamp or mold with the feature size from sub-micrometer down to nanometer level.
