Abstract: A process for forming a capacitor is presented. The process includes providing a laminate including a dielectric layer disposed on a sacrificial substrate, forming a free-standing metallized dielectric layer and packaging the free-standing metallized dielectric layer to form a capacitor. The dielectric layer includes a polyetherimide. The step of forming the free-standing metallized dielectric layer is performed by: (a) disposing a metal layer on the dielectric layer to form a metalized laminate such that a metalized dielectric layer is formed on the sacrificial substrate, and removing the sacrificial substrate to form the free-standing metallized dielectric layer; or (b) removing the sacrificial substrate from the laminate to form a free-standing dielectric layer, and disposing a metal layer on the free-standing dielectric layer to form the free-standing metallized dielectric layer. A capacitor formed by the process is presented.

Abstract: A method for operating a communications controller adapted for full duplex (FD) operation includes receiving a measurement report from a user equipment served by the communications controller, the measurement report indicating a first power margin between a current transmit power and a transmit power break point and a second power margin between the current transmit power and a maximum transmit power capable of supporting FD operation, performing FD link adaptation (LA) in accordance with the first power margin and the second power margin to adjust one or more FD configuration parameters of a link between the communications controller and the user equipment, wherein the link includes a downlink and an uplink, and instructing the user equipment to communicate over the link in accordance with the one or more FD configuration parameters.

The scheduling may be based on base station beam indices, base station channel measurements, received UE capabilities, received UE measured channel conditions and/or received UE positional information. Abstract: A method for activating an application function is disclosed. The method includes obtaining an activation instruction sent by a user within a blank space accessible to the user on an application interface; and activating at least one application function according to the activation instruction. The present disclosure allows a user to send an activation instruction from within a blank space accessible to the user on an application interface, and activate a corresponding application function, without the need of operating a preset function button as existing technologies do. The technical solution of the present disclosure is not limited by application scenarios and has a higher flexibility, thus facilitating a convenient and rapid activation of a corresponding function and improving the convenience for a user to use application functions.

Abstract: A method for assigning downlink transmit power levels to radio nodes (RNs) in a small cell radio access network (RAN) includes assigning initial power levels to the RNs. For each cell, first events are counted indicating that UEs receiving a signal from their serving cells with a signal strength below a specified value have entered a coverage hole. For each cell, second events are counted indicating that UEs have re-established a previous connection on one of the cells. For each pair of cells, a coverage hole is identified between them if the number of first events for one cell exceeds a threshold and a number of second events or re-establishment of a previous connection on the other cell exceeds another threshold. For each identified coverage hole, the downlink transmit power level is increased of at least one RN in the pair of cells between which the coverage hole is identified.
