  • Patent number: 12730200
Abstract: The subject matter of this specification can be implemented in, among other things, systems and methods of optical sensing for pixel multiplexing and polarized beam steering. Described, among other things, is a system that includes a light source configured to generate a light and one or more optical devices, integrated on a photonic integrated circuit, configured to impart modulation to the generated light and deliver the modulated light to an interface coupling device. The interface coupling device can include a plurality of interface couplers (ICs), each IC configured to scatter the modulated light in a direction that makes at least 5 degrees with an optical axis of lens configured to transmit the light scattered by each IC along a respective direction of a plurality of directions.

  • Publication number: 20260258762
Abstract: An exhaust passage (14) of an internal combustion engine (1) is provided with a three-way catalyst (15), and the air-fuel ratio is feedback controlled so as to maintain the oxygen storage amount in the three-way catalyst (15) at a target oxygen storage amount. An estimated oxygen storage amount (b1) is obtained from an intake air amount and an exhaust air-fuel ratio detected by an air-fuel ratio sensor (19), and a target air-fuel ratio is set in accordance with the difference between the target oxygen storage amount (b2) and the estimated oxygen storage amount (b1). The target oxygen storage amount (b2) is set with the characteristic of becoming lower as the intake air amount becomes higher, on the basis of the intake air amount corresponding to the flow rate of gas flowing into the three-way catalyst (15). The foregoing cancels out an increase in the NOx slip ratio when the gas flow rate is high.

  • Patent number: 12654909
Abstract: Multilayer films are disclosed. The multilayer film may include a core layer and a heat seal layer where the heat seal lay comprises a polypropylene copolymer and a polyethylene copolymer. The polypropylene copolymer of the heat seal layer has specific properties such as ethylene content and iCCD elution profile to contribute to the desirable properties of the film. The multilayer film can form effective heat seals, even when in contact with heated contents. The multilayer film can be formed into a bag where the bag is suitable for carrying hot or heated contents.

  • Patent number: 12631614
Abstract: The method for tracing a sediment source, including: sampling at sampling points and multiple additional testing points around each sampling point; measuring sediment grain size distribution and corresponding mass percentages to plot sediment grain size distribution curves of each sampling point and its additional testing points; plotting a sediment fingerprint matrix of each sampling point; comparing patterns of the sediment fingerprint matrix of the first sampling point with patterns of the sediment fingerprint matrix of the second sampling point, and determining whether sediment at the first sampling point and that at the second sampling point have the same source. The sediment fingerprint matrix that illustrates the variation of sediment characteristics in different grain size intervals. In addition, by comparing the sediment characteristics in the corresponding grain size intervals, the tracing and classification of sediment from different locations can be achieved.
