  • Publication number: 20020134917
Abstract: A CMOS active pixel color linear image sensor is operable in line-packed readout mode, and at very high speed. In accordance with a preferred embodiment, the sensor is formed entirely on a single-chip and may be further configurable for operation in parallel-packed and/or pixel-packed modes. Line-packed pixel readout is accomplished by spreading same color pixel signal sampled values in storage elements across each of plural readout register arrays in a “cyclic” manner. Facility is introduced for starting the reading of a next pixel (e.g., R pixel 2) even before the previous pixel (R pixel 1) has been read out to increase the effective pixel readout rate.

  • Patent number: 6441357
Abstract: A sampling and readout system including a cascaded stage charge amplifier samples, amplifies, and outputs pixel sensor data from an array of pixel sensors. The charge amplifier divides the gain into several gain stages. Each gain stage amplifies the pixel sensor data.

  • Publication number: 20020076957
Abstract: A circuit board assembly having a circuit board with at least one via, a pin for insertion into the via, and a contact element positioned adjacent to the pin and the via for providing electrical attachment of the pin to the via of the circuit board. The pin is detachable from the via and the contact element deforms upon insertion of the pin.

  • Patent number: 6365886
Abstract: Smarts are added to a CMOS active pixel color linear image sensor operable in any of parallel-packed, pixel-packed, and line-packed readout mode, to provide the added feature of variable imaging resolution operability. By combining decoder block functionality with shift selection logic to provide column selection adaptable for lowering the resolution of an imaging process, higher speed imaging is possible. Furthermore, the added functionality is implemented in a manner which does not unduly impact chip size. More importantly, the added functionality is compatible with, and in fact complements the specific architecture of an active pixel color linear sensor with variable readout mode functionality incorporated therein.

  • Patent number: 5829154
Abstract: Disclosed is a tape measure provided with flexible braking strips for conveniently controlling rewinding of the tape, about the reel of the tape measure. The braking strips have arcuate middle portions which are provided at concave surfaces with two rows of discontinued pressing blocks corresponding to circumferential edges of two side plates of the reel, such that when the arcuate middle portions of the braking strips projecting from the case of the tape measure are depressed, the pressing blocks frictionally contact with the circumferential edges of the reel and stop the reel from rotating backward, and therefore, the tape is prevented from rewinding after it has been pulled outward for measuring purpose.

  • Patent number: 4137715
Abstract: A fog smoke-filtrating and muffling device utilized by vehicle is an apparatus utilizing an intake pipe to lead the waste gas of engine to blow the water, which is contained in a tank, to disperse to become a fog. The carbides and impurities in the waste gas can be dissolved in the water. Then, in a evaporation chamber and a releasing chamber, the water droplets and waste gas can be separated from each other, and the purified waste gas is exhausted. The water droplets can be collected and filtrated through a reservoir. The water in the reservoir can be used again. Meanwhile, the water in the tank of this invention can absorb the noise and the shock of engine. The cyclic flow of water in this invention can cool the engine as well.
