    Abstract: A bobbin and coil architecture is provided for use in an inductive sensor. The architecture eliminates the need for coil shielding and reduces the sensor's sensitivity to temperature and proximate mounting hardware. In one or more embodiments, all or portions of separate coils are located in a common slot on the bobbin, rather than being segregated into separate slots. In an example configuration, two receiver coils may be located in respective two slots on the bobbin, and a transmitter coil may divided into two substantially equal subsets of windings, with each subset wound together with one of the receiver coils in a common slot. This yields a symmetrical and balanced winding architecture that requires fewer slots relative to designs that segregate all coils into separate slots.

A first portion of the first capping layer covers a sidewall of the first trench and a second portion of the first capping layer covers a bottom surface of the first trench. The method further includes oxidizing a sidewall of the first portion of the first capping layer and a top surface of the second portion of the first capping layer to form a first capping oxide layer and forming a first work function metal layer and forming a first gate electrode layer over the first work function metal layer.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an automatic encoding device including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a third electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are connected through a connecting point, so that an electric parameter between the first electrode and the second electrode changes according to a parameter needing to be corrected. The present invention further provides a method for applying the automatic encoding device to various biosensors and a method for manufacturing the automatic encoding device. Positions and the number of contacts for connecting the automatic encoding device and a detection system are fixed. Therefore, connection sites on the detection system are effectively utilized. On the other hand, the automatic encoding device in the present invention can provide different parameter information by only changing the positions of the connecting points on the electrodes, the process is simple and stable, and the probability of human errors is reduced.

An upper metal conducting layer overlies on the substrate and the upper ohmic region, and a lower metal conducting layer overlies on the lower ohmic region. When the upper and lower metal conducting layers are electrified, the upper ohmic region and the lower ohmic region are electrically connected, and a contact interface between the substrate and the upper metal conducting layer forms an enlarged depletion region to block electrical conduction therebetween. As a result, a resistance value of the resistor is increased when an applied voltage on the resistor is increased.

The light/mixed particle-suspension system in the present invention applied in wastewater treatment can increase the concentration of microorganisms significantly, improve the ability to bear impact load, produce less sludge, and without sludge expansion.

The microsphere adsorbent not only can adsorb harmful micromolecules in blood but also can effectively adsorb harmful medium-molecules and macromolecules in blood, thereby meeting clinical application demands.
