Abstract: The present invention discloses a three-dimensional man-machine interaction display and control method for power grid operation monitoring, which includes the following steps: drawing a picture in a two-dimensional plane by using a dual-buffer mechanism; reading the picture drawn in the two-dimensional plane, and drawing the picture in a three-dimensional space; detecting an interaction event in the three-dimensional space, and determining a type of a component in an operation panel; delivering the interaction event between the three-dimensional space and the two-dimensional plane, and processing the interaction event according to the component type; and reading the picture drawn by the component in the two-dimensional plane, and updating a corresponding image in the three-dimensional space. The present invention solves the problem of introducing the alarm images into the three-dimensional space.

Abstract: A method for controlling operation of a resonant converter is to be implemented by a control module that generates a drive signal for controlling a power switch of the resonant converter to thereby control an output voltage and an output current provided by the resonant converter to a load. The method includes: (A) configuring the control module to determine if the load is operating in a first mode or a second mode; (B) configuring the control module to generate the drive signal according to the output voltage when the control module determines that the load is operating in the first mode; and (C) configuring the control module to generate the drive signal according to the output current when the control module determines that the load is operating in the second mode.

Abstract: The invention includes a box, vertical and horizontal dividers, a plant-growth mat, and a mounting bar. The dividers are permanently linked to form an insert, which slides into insert grooves inside the box. Insert grooves have upper and lower rails. At the insert groove openings rail ends feature upward bends. The plant-growth mat is secured against the box inner-back by the insert which is prevented from sliding out by the upward bends of the lower rails. A support mount and a fastener on the back of the box and compatible groove surfaces on the mounting bar prevent box movement when mounted. The invention increases the rigidity of the dividers and reduces their deformability. It facilitates inserting the integrated dividers into the box with convenient insert grooves. The plant-growth mat can store water, prevent soil erosion, and provide aeration to plant roots. The mounting bar stabilizes the module for easy installation.

Abstract: A nucleating agent composition for increasing rigidity and toughness of polypropylene is provided. The nucleating agent composition comprises a carboxylate nucleating agent and a phosphate nucleating agent. The carboxylate nucleating agent is selected from the group consisting of sodium benzoate and hydroxyl aluminum para-tertiary butyl benzoate, and the phosphate nucleating agent is selected from any one of sodium 2,2?-methylene-di(4,6-di-t-butyl phenyl) phosphate and aluminum bis[2,2?-methylene-di(4,6-di-t-butylphenyl)] phosphate. The nucleating agent composition according to the present invention not only can significantly improve the bending modulus and thermal deformation temperature of polypropylene, but also can improve the impact strength of polypropylene.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a grouted tubular energy-dissipation unit comprising an inner tube and an outer tube. The inner tube is coaxially inserted into the outer tube defining a gap within a lapping portion of the tubes for receiving expansive cement grout. After solidified, the expansive cement grout forms an expansive ring. A prestress produced by the expansive cement grout increases the friction between the expansive ring and the tubes. In service, the present invention can transfer the axial force via the friction between the tubes and the expansive cement grout. In case of earthquake, the sliding friction between the tubes and the expansive cement grout can absorb energy. The present invention does not require high precise in manufacturing and constructing, saves steel and has low cost. It is only need to replace the grouted tubular energy-dissipation unit when the present invention is damaged in earthquake, which is very convenient.

The system sends the statistical record to the inquirer if the record exists and is unexpired, and invokes an SQL statement to compute the statistical record only if the record does not exist or has expired. The statistical records may be placed in statistical table in a database and/or a cache of an application server. The disclosed strategy may also increase attack resistance of the system.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial synovial fluid composition that mimics the tribological and biochemical properties of human, osteoarthritic synovial fluid for in vitro testing of implantable materials. The artificial synovial fluid comprises new-born calf serum or alpha-calf serum (iron-free or iron-supplemented) that contains a specific total protein concentration, specific protein constituent fractions (albumin, ?-1 globulin, ?-2 globulin, ?-globulin, and ?-globulin), specific trace element concentrations (Ca, Mg, inorganic P, and Fe), and a specific low-molecular weight peptide concentration important for in vitro testing of implantable materials. In addition, the artificial synovial fluid contains a hyaluronic acid concentration and level of osmolality (preferably using phosphate buffered-saline solution) to mimic the thermal stability (transition mid-point temperature, enthalpy, and entropy) and pH level as measured clinically.

The nursing cells are permanently linked inside the box. Each nursing cell has reservoir grooves in the bottom, and light and air circulation cells around all sides. A slit is placed on adjacent walls of nursing cells in each row, and also in each column, thereby connecting two adjacent nursing cells. The planting module is integrated, ready for use without any assembly required. Light and air circulation cells around nursing cells provide sufficient sunlight for growth of the plants inside. Reservoir grooves in the cell bottom can better keep moisture and nutrients inside. Horizontal and vertical slits in the cell walls provide even and rapid distribution for water that enters the module.
