  • Publication number: 20190352707
Abstract: The present disclosure provides methods and systems for determining a nucleic acid sequence of a target nucleic acid molecule. A method for sequencing a target nucleic acid molecule comprises subjecting a plurality of nucleic acid molecules exhibiting sequence homology to the target nucleic acid molecule to at most 4000 cycles a nucleic acid extension reaction while measuring detectable signals from the plurality of nucleic acid molecules. The detectable signals may correspond to individual nucleotides or nucleotide analogs incorporated into the plurality of nucleic acid molecules during the nucleic acid extension reaction. The detectable signals may be used to generate a sequence of the target nucleic acid molecule at a length of at least about 500 bases and an accuracy of at least about 97%.

  • Patent number: 10450604
Abstract: A method for generating, within a conduit, discrete volumes of one or more fluids that are immiscible with a second fluid. The discrete volumes can be used for biochemical or molecular biology procedures involving small volumes, for example, microliter-sized volumes, nanoliter-sized volumes, or smaller. The discrete volumes are separated from one another by a liquid that is immiscible with the fluid(s) of the discrete volumes, for example, aqueous immiscible-fluid-discrete volumes separated by an oil.

  • Patent number: 9977893
Abstract: A customer initiated password reset system resets user passwords on a variety of network entities, such as internal systems, allowing simultaneous reset with a minimum number of user specified passwords that nonetheless satisfy the password specifications of these internal systems. Thereby, the user avoids the tedium of logging into each of these systems, changing their password, logging out, etc., for each system with the likelihood of creating unique passwords for each system that have to be remembered. By further incorporating a score metric based upon how many character sets are touched, a required degree of complexity can be measured and enforced against the password specifications. Advantageously, a table-based approach to enforcing password reset against the multiple password specifications facilitates making and fielding updates.

  • Patent number: 9889965
Abstract: A leak-proof, interlocking, stackable travel container assembly has a sealing plug and a plurality of travel containers. The sealing plug is designed to create an airtight seal when positioned within an opening. In order to do so, the sealing plug has a first sealing ring, a second sealing ring and a lip. Each of the plurality of travel containers has a neck portion, an opening, a body portion and a base portion. The opening perpendicularly traverses into the neck portion allowing an user to place and remove items within the travel container. When required, the sealing plug is placed within the opening. Next, a protective cap is used to surround the sealing plug. If multiple travel containers are to be used, a base interlocking mechanism and a neck interlocking mechanism are used for interlocking each of the plurality of travel containers.
