Abstract: An anti-thermosensitization rectification tower comprising a rectification tower, a T-shaped condenser, a baffle plate, a tower bottom, a falling-film reboiler and a recirculation system, wherein the T-shaped condenser is secured exactly on the top of the rectification tower without any pipeline in between, and the circular baffle plate is installed in the T-shaped condenser; an annular sump located between the rectification tower and the T-shaped condenser for collecting the liquid condensed in the T-shaped condenser and channeling it out of the rectification tower into a liquid-collecting tank, and a centrifugal pump utilized to connect together the tower bottom and the falling-film reboiler to form a high-speed circulation system, wherein the tower bottom is an elongated conduit and the falling-film reboiler is in the form of a stout shell-and-tube heat exchanger is provided.

Abstract: A method for managing display of a widget, the widget is displayed in a form of a predetermined textbox on a user interface before the widget has got focus. When the widget has got focus, corresponding functions of the widget are executed, and preset original data of the widget is displayed through the widget. When the widget has lost focus, the display of the widget is reverted to the predetermined textbox, and inputted or selected information by the user through the widget is displayed in the predetermined textbox.

Abstract: A light emitting device and method for making the same is disclosed. The light-emitting device includes an active layer sandwiched between a p-type semiconductor layer and an n-type semiconductor layer. The active layer emits lights when holes from the p-type semiconductor layer combine with electrons from the n-type semiconductor layer therein. The active layer includes a number of sub-layers and has a plurality of pits in which the side surfaces of a plurality of the sub-layers are in contact with the p-type semiconductor material such that holes from the p-type semiconductor material are injected into those sub-layers through the exposed side surfaces without passing through another sub-layer. The pits can be formed by utilizing dislocations in the n-type semiconductor layer and etching the active layer using an etching atmosphere in the same chamber used to deposit the semiconductor layers without removing the partially fabricated device.

Abstract: A pollutant collecting pump for water surface comprises a power device (1) and a pollutant collecting barrel (6). The power device (1) is connected to the pollutant collecting barrel (6). A pollutant inlet (4) is provided on the upper portion of the pollutant collecting barrel (6), and a pollutant outlet (5) is provided on the lower portion of the pollutant collecting barrel (6). A blade (2) is provided outside the pollutant collecting barrel (6), and an axis of the pollutant collecting barrel (6) is perpendicular to a rotating surface of the blade (2). The pollutant inlet (4) is positioned above the blade (2). The pollutant collecting pump for water surface is adapted to collect pollutants distributed on water surface with low density and small thickness, and has the advantages in simple structure, low manufacturing cost, convenient operation and thorough collection.

Abstract: A method, an apparatus and a system for information transmission are provided. The method includes the following steps. A second user equipment receives update information issued by a wireless access point (AP). The second user equipment is located within a coverage area of the wireless AP. After detecting that the second user equipment has the update information, a first user equipment establishes a connection with the second user equipment and obtains the update information from the second user equipment. The first user equipment is located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP. In the present invention, the user equipment can update the information without additionally increasing the transmit powers of the wireless AP and the user equipments when located outside the coverage area of the wireless AP, and thus the interference to other equipments is minimized.

Abstract: A method for making carbon nanotube paper is disclosed. The method includes using a roller, a pressing device, and at least one carbon nanotube array. At least one carbon nanotube film structure is formed by drawing a plurality of carbon nanotubes from the at least one carbon nanotube array. The at least one carbon nanotube film structure is wound onto the roller. The carbon nanotube paper is formed by pressing the at least one carbon nanotube film structure using the pressing device.

Abstract: Methods and systems for controlling operation of a wind turbine. The method may comprise determining an alarm level for at least one component of the wind turbine. In the case that an alarm level for at least one component exceeds a predefined level, the method comprises estimating an expected remaining lifetime for the component under the current operating conditions, and controlling operation of the wind turbine in order to adjust the expected remaining lifetime for the component to a desired expected remaining lifetime for said component. Thereby, the expected remaining lifetime for the component can be prolonged until the next scheduled service event. Downtime of the wind turbine is considerably reduced, and unscheduled service events are avoided to the greatest possible extent. Mean time between inspections (MTBI) is also extended.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical composition containing sunflower extract comprises the extract of total flavonoids from leaves, heads or stems of sunflower (Helianthus annuus L.), in which the content of total flavonoids is 50-90%. Preferably, the pharmaceutical composition comprises the extract of total terpenes and/or the extract of total organic acids. The pharmaceutical composition is used as an active ingredient in manufacture of foods, functional foods or medicaments for preventing or treating hypertension.

Abstract: A communication control system includes an electronic device and a communication apparatus paired with the electronic device. The electronic device includes an input unit, a first BLUETOOTH unit, and a dialing control module. The input unit generates commands in response to operations of a user. The dialing control module generates dial information when a dialing command is received, and controls the first BLUETOOTH unit to transmit the dial information to the communication apparatus. The communication apparatus includes a wireless communication unit, a second BLUETOOTH unit, and a dialing module. The dialing module controls the wireless communication unit to dial according to the dial information. The dialing module also controls the second BLUETOOTH unit to transmit real-time dial information and voice signals of the user to the electronic device. A related method is also provided.
