  • Publication number: 20160058257
Abstract: A cleaner head for a cleaning appliance, comprising a brushbar, a housing defining a chamber which at least partially surrounds the brushbar, the chamber having a dirty air inlet and a dirty air outlet, and a scraper having a working edge which extends in the longitudinal direction of the brushbar. The scraper is arranged such that, in use, the working edge scrapes debris entrained by the brushbar from the brushbar. The working edge has a profile which is shaped such that debris which accumulates at the working edge is drawn by the airflow through the cleaner head along the working edge towards the dirty air outlet.

  • Patent number: 8849914
Abstract: A system and method for enabling co-browsing between two or more users accessing a website in separate sessions. Each of the users operates a web browser instance to browse the website. The website comprises one or more web pages, at least a portion of which includes embedded software code or script. A collaboration manager, established after the users consent to co-browsing, associates the sessions of the users. As the users navigate to new web addresses in the website or enter data into their browser instances, the software code or script embedded within the web pages rendered in the browser instances causes each user's browser to communicate changes in the web addresses or data to the collaboration manager. The collaboration manager receives the communicated changes and provides them to other co-browsing users. Synchronization of cursors, scroll-bar positions and other browser events is also supported.

  • Publication number: 20140008350
Abstract: A mineral insulated heating cable for a heat tracing system. The heating cable includes a sheath having at least a first, and optionally a second layer, wherein the thermal conductivity of the second layer is greater than a thermal conductivity of the first layer. In addition, the first and second layers are in intimate thermal contact. The heating cable also includes a least one heating conductor for generating heat and a dielectric layer located within the sheath for electrically insulating the heating, conductor, wherein the sheath, heating conductor and dielectric layer form a heating section. In addition, the heating cable includes a conduit for receiving the heating section. Further, the heating cable includes a cold lead section and a hot-cold joint for connecting the heating and cold lead sections. In addition, a high emissivity coating may be formed on the first layer.

  • Patent number: 8360792
Abstract: A coaxial switching jack with a pair of coaxial assemblies mounted within a housing having a pair of front openings. The coaxial assemblies each include a center conductor and a shell conductor. The center conductors are connected by a first spring and the shell conductors are connected by a second spring. Insertion of a coaxial cable connector within one of the front openings deflects the springs from the corresponding coaxial assembly and disconnects the center and shell conductors of the two assemblies. The jack may also be configured to provide an electrical connection between the center and shell conductors of the second coaxial assembly if a coaxial cable connector is inserted within the first coaxial assembly. The connection between the center and shell conductors of the second coaxial assembly may allow for selection of a desired electrical impedance.

  • Publication number: 20120128835
Abstract: Flexible film packages having a partial, initial seal against ambient atmosphere and are easily openable and reclosable. The flexible film packages are generally resealable to extend the shelf-life or freshness of products contained therein once the package is initially opened. By one approach, the flexible film has two opposing edge portions that meet to form a longitudinal seal extending from a first end seal to a second end seal. The flexible film may have a score that defines a package opening. An elongated closure layer may extend over the score and may extend from a first end seal to a second end seal and within the opposing edge portions that form the longitudinal seal. The elongated closure layer may have a tack-free gripping portion used to release at least a portion of the elongated closure from the flexible film to form the package opening.
