    Abstract: Instead of having a constant boundary, artificial reality (XR) applications that can run in boundaryless mode (e.g., in augmented or mixed reality) can be given controls by selective boundary system on an XR system to customize partial boundaries. For example, an application can specify to select particular boundaries when certain object types are in the real-world environment. In another example, an application can transition to different boundary modes when certain application events occur (e.g., when transitioning from virtual reality to mixed reality). On the backend, the selective boundary system can provide the application with an API that exposes boundary information. Based on this information, the application can use the API to create new boundaries or turn on or off certain boundaries based on requests by the application.

Some implementations can perform post-processing on the displayed mesh, which can include A) collapsing variations in the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor onto the XR space model; B) clipping the mesh to the XR space model for open doorways, windows, etc.; C) simplifying the mesh corresponding to the walls, ceiling, or floor; D) determining that the mesh is complete by identifying that a threshold percentage of the XR space model is covered by the mesh; or any combination thereof.

    Abstract: Provided is a light backdoor attack method for a physical world. The method includes: generating, by a flashlight, a light trigger on a traffic sign; capturing and acquiring, by a camera, a backdoor training set, and marking all images in the backdoor training set as a target label; constructing a training set according to the backdoor training set and a clean training set; training a backdoor model using the training set to obtain a trained backdoor model; and evaluating effectiveness of light backdoor attack by applying the trained backdoor model to a testing set. The method can poison DNNs to achieve a more covert backdoor attack and provide a new idea for physical backdoor attack field.

It utilizes a machine learning-based membrane fouling prediction model to automatically forecast and generate electrochemical information values, which characterize the extent of membrane fouling at various time points, based on influent water quality parameters. It then acquires the electrochemical information values Zt at a moment t and Zt+?t at a moment t+?t. Subsequently, it computes and assesses the respective fouling levels using the electrochemical information values derived from the membrane fouling prediction model. Finally, it issues an early warning signal contingent upon the determined warning level. This methodology facilitates proactive understanding and management of membrane fouling, thereby sustaining the normal operation of the membrane fouling treatment system, mitigating the propensity for membrane assembly fouling, and prolonging the operational lifespan of the membrane assembly.
