  • Publication number: 20250086636
Abstract: The present disclosure generally relates to an anomaly detection solution using advanced mobile payments data and mobile transaction-level features to help banks detect potential anomalous behavior in their mobile banking platform. The solution disclosed in the present disclosure is embedded into a broader fraud and anomaly detection monitoring framework at client end to make real time decisions on transaction approval, hold, or decline. This leads to reduced fraud losses and exposures, and optimized transaction approval rates for the client. As opposed to typical models deployed by banks which are unique and targeted to a specific use, this solution concurrently caters to three distinct use cases: detection of potential fraudulent activity, facility abuse by client, and potential laundering activity.

  • Patent number: 12038736
Abstract: A method is described for selecting voxels for producing a three-dimensional object with an additive manufacturing device. The additive manufacturing device has a building space that is discretized into virtual voxels. The method includes receiving a voxel-based approximation of a surface of the object. The voxel-based approximation includes multiple voxels. The method includes determining, for each voxel of a non-empty subset of the voxels, a signed distance value describing a distance between the voxel and at least one point defined by the voxel-based approximation. The signed distance value of the voxel is determined based on a displacement value describing a topographic characteristic of the voxel-based approximation. The method includes selecting voxels at which material should be added to produce the object. The selection is performed based on the signed distance values of the voxels.

  • Patent number: 11977079
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for analyzing acetone in breath. One such method comprises disposing a reactant in a reaction zone within the breath analysis device, wherein the reactant comprises a primary amine disposed on a surface, and wherein the reaction zone has an optical characteristic that is at a reference level. It also comprises pre-storing a liquid nitroprusside solution within the breath analysis device separately from the reactant. The method further comprises using the breath analysis device to cause the breath to contact the reactant in the reaction zone so that the acetone in the breath reacts with the reactant to form a reaction product and, after the reaction product has been formed, using the breath analysis device to cause the nitroprusside solution to contact and react with the reaction product and to facilitate a change in the optical characteristic of the reaction zone relative to the reference level.

  • Publication number: 20240008764
Abstract: A breath analysis system comprises a breath analysis device having an analyte sensor, such as a metal oxide semiconductor sensor, that needs to be heated or otherwise prepared before a breath test can be performed. To reduce or avoid a user-perceived delay (typically multiple minutes) associated with the sensor preparation operation, the system predictively initiates a sensor preparation operation based on a determination or prediction of whether the user is in an adequate state for performing a breath test. This prediction may be based on one or more factors, such as the current time, whether the breath analysis device is within wireless communication (e.g., Bluetooth) range of the user's smartphone, data reflective of the user's location and/or activity, etc.
