  • Publication number: 20210394162
Abstract: A process for the production of a catalyst comprising the steps of: dissolving the requisite quantities of copper nitrate and nickel nitrate in de-ionised water to provide a sub-0.30 molar aqueous solution of copper nitrate and nickel nitrate together in the ratio required; providing an ammoniacal solution by adding concentrated aqueous solution of ammonia in a quantity equal to between six and ten times the quantity required to realise both a 1:6 molar ratio for Cu2+ to ammonia and a 1:6 molar ratio for Ni2+ to ammonia; loading gamma alumina with 1 to 30% w/w of copper and nickel in a weight ratio of nickel to copper of 1:5 to 2:1 by suspending the requisite quantity of gamma alumina in said ammoniacal solution to achieve the required loading of copper and nickel; stirring the resulting gamma alumina suspension for at least 4 h at room temperature; then the volatile components evaporate under ambient conditions leaving dry loaded gamma alumina, which is calcined at a temperature of at least 260° C.

  • Publication number: 20210390545
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for computerized methods and systems for processing transaction disputes and processing transactions associated with compromised accounts. According to one exemplary method, a server receives, from a user device, an instruction for disputing a transaction associated with a user account. The server can initiate, based on a record of the transaction, a dispute investigation, and issue provisional credit to the user account for the transaction. Based on a transaction history associated with the user account, the server can determine a plurality of expected transactions associated with the user account and cause the determined expected transactions to be displayed on the user device. After receiving a transaction authorization for at least one of the plurality of expected transactions, the server can process payments for the at least one of the plurality of expected transactions, and generate a notification indicating a status of the dispute investigation.

  • Patent number: 11065326
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for the treatment and prevention of canine influenza virus (CIV) and CIV-related pathology. The present invention is based in part upon the discovery that various mutations in segment 1 and segment 2 of the CIV genome, thereby encoding mutant PB2 and PB1 protein, render the virus to be temperature-sensitive.

  • Publication number: 20210205934
Abstract: Disclosed is a pyrometallurgical process for producing a crude solder from a feedstock selected in terms of its levels of Sn, Cu, Sb, Bi, Zn, As, Ni and Pb, the process comprising at least the steps of obtaining in a furnace a liquid bath of metal and slag, introducing a reducing agent and optionally also energy, separating the crude solder from the slag and removing liquid from the furnace. Further disclosed is a crude solder comprising at least 9.5-69% wt of tin and at least 25% wt lead, at least 80% tin and lead together, 0.08-12% wt of copper, 0.15-7% wt of antimony, 0.012-1.5% wt of bismuth, 0.010-1.1% wt of zinc, at most 3% wt of arsenic, at most 2.8% wt of nickel, at most 0.7% wt of zinc, at most 7.5% wt of iron and at most 0.5% wt of aluminium. The crude solder may readily be further prepared to become suitable as feedstock for vacuum distillation.
