  • Publication number: 20250124670
Abstract: In one implementation, a method of displaying a portal is performed by a device including a display, one or more processors, and non-transitory memory. The method includes obtaining a user location in a first three-dimensional coordinate system of a first environment. The method includes obtaining an interest location in a second three-dimensional second coordinate system of a second environment. The method includes transforming the interest location to a transformed interest location in the first three-dimensional coordinate system. The method includes determining a portal location in the first three-dimensional coordinate system based on the user location and the transformed interest location. The method includes displaying, on the display at the portal location, a portal corresponding to at least a partial view of the second environment.

  • Publication number: 20250111623
Abstract: Various implementations disclosed herein include devices, systems, and methods that apply a 3-dimensional (3D) effect to content for rendering. For example, a process may obtain content to render within an extended reality (XR) environment. The process may further generate, via a rendering framework, a two-dimensional (2D) rendering of the content The rendering framework generates 3D information based on the content. The process may further generate a 3D effect for rendering the content based on the 3D information. The process may further determine a location of a display region for the content within the XR environment and a view of the XR environment may be presented. Rendering of the content may be presented with the 3D effect at the location in the view of the XR environment.

  • Publication number: 20240266040
Abstract: A method of processing blood includes receiving from a touch screen user input data for a protocol for a wash procedure. The user input data includes a numeric value. The method includes storing the protocol in a memory, receiving an identifier from a user, determining if the identifier permits the user to modify the protocol and receiving a modification of the protocol from the user. The method includes providing a plurality of authorizations, a second authorization being a default and an administrator authorization permitting the user to change a setting. The method includes comparing a password to a password stored in memory and, if there is a match, determining that the password is associated with an administrator. If a command to change the setting is received, the command is applied to change the setting. The blood is processed employing a wash procedure using the modified protocol and the changed setting.
