  • Patent number: 11452953
Abstract: The invention relates to an engine oil system (1, 1?, 101) for supplying oil to oil using components (3) in a vehicle (800). The engine oil system comprises an oil pan (10) for holding oil received from the oil using components, an oil pump (20) fluidly connected to the oil pan for pumping oil from the oil pan to the oil using components, and an oil filter (30, 30? 130) configured for cleaning the oil. The oil filter has a filter inlet (32, 32?, 132) for receiving oil to be cleaned, and a filter outlet (34, 34? 134) for discharging oil from the oil filter. The oil filter is arranged in the oil pan such that, in use, the filter outlet discharges oil into the oil pan.

  • Publication number: 20220241468
Abstract: An article having an antibacterial surface having an antibacterial surface having the nano scale flakes or platelets arranged essentially aligned to each other and extending out from said surface with a length in the range of 0.5-30 microns. The antibacterial surface is produced by processing a mixture of a polymer matrix material and a filler material comprising the nanoscale flakes or platelets by pressing the mixture through a die while heated to a temperature above a melting temperature of the polymer matrix material. Hereby, the nano scale flakes or platelets become aligned, with their longitudinal directions being oriented in substantially the same direction. A surface of the processed mixture which is oriented essentially perpendicularly to the longitudinal directions of the nano scale flakes or platelets is then etched or ablated to partly expose the nano scale flakes or platelets, thereby making the surface antibacterial.

  • Patent number: 10109118
Abstract: A method for monitoring the operation of a sensor is provided. The method comprises the step of representing the operation of the sensor by: i) storing a plurality of data values, each data value corresponding to the sensor output signal, wherein said step is performed during a time period such that said data values are distributed over a range of possible data values, ii) defining a plurality of discrete intervals within said range of possible data values; and iii) calculating the frequency of the data values within each interval thus forming a sensor representation. The method further comprises the steps of receiving at least one reference sensor representation; and comparing said sensor representation with said at least one reference sensor representation.

  • Patent number: 10024602
Abstract: A plate package made according to the method includes first heat exchanger plates and second heat exchanger plates. Each heat exchanger plate has a first porthole, and the port hole of at least one of the heat exchanger plates is surrounded by a peripheral rim. The first heat exchanger plates and the second heat exchanger plates, are joined to each other and arranged side by side in such a way that the peripheral rims together define an inlet channel extending through the plate package. The peripheral rim of the first and/or the second heat exchanger plates has at least one through hole, forming a fluid passage allowing a communication between the inlet channel and the first plate interspaces. The at least one through hole is made in a condition in which the first and the second heat exchanger plates have been joined to each other to form the plate package.
